There is a helicopter mod or something on the lines of that, that is SMP i think the yogscast did a review of it

the login servers are down but u can play NORMAL minecraft in the browser, that's always open since u don't need the login server for it :)

It's on maintenance, that's why it's whitelisted just until the maintenance is done
