i found out i have 3gb of ram and 2.86 is usable.

oh sorry i forgot this, i pressed pause break and nothing happened

well i dont know how much ram i have, i just looked under computer and thats what i found. i looked at my task manager and found two prosses, both called javaw. one is using 10,048K and the other is using 14,260K. Are these enough to stop my server? And I dont even know what those prosses even are. Im not running anything java. If it is too much is there any way I can get more java ram?

I'm setting up a Tekkit server and when I start the launch, it says Could not create the Java virtual machine. I put xmx1G and xms512M on the launch.bat, like some guide I found told me to and still get the error. My computer has 206G free of 278G on my computer.

So how do I fix it?

oh! I just saw something on the internet that said I had to have a bukkit server, then download tekkit from technicpack.net and replace the bukkit.jar with tekkit.jar. Thanks for your help! I appreciate it!

I dont know what that is. This is what I did. I got a regular minecraft server. I got Craftbukkit, then got tekkit.

i tried restarting the server, deleting buggy plugins, deleted giant useless files, and i DID port forward!

Yeah I did that and then the mods somehow got deleted from the folder. I then tried putting them into the mod folder one by one.I did EE IC2 RailCraft and Redpower. IC2 and Redpower got installed successfully BEFORE the "Done" thing. It said EE installed before the done but RailCraft was after the "done". EE didnt work but IC2 and Redpower did. RailCraft didn't install.

I installed Bukkit, then Tekkit. I started my server and the startup had no errors. Then when I got on my server to test it, I couldn't use items from tekkit mods. I clicked a Alchemy Chest on TMI and it said there is no item ID 133. When I put something into my invintory that was a mod item, I got kicked and it said End of Stream. Please help. Error Log:
