  1. Re: Bugs found in Tekkit 2.0 Okay, apparently add quarry not working with any of my configurations either, it just pops up the default 9x9 frame and won't budge or do anything no matter how much power I feed to it.

Re: Bugs found in Tekkit 2.0 Okay so I was suggest to post the bug here, Original Post: http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,2387.0.html No matter what I do or try, and trust me, if you read the other topic, I have tried a lot, I cannot get the automatic farm making machines to work no matter how much power or what builds and engines and what kind of power I use. I have tried re-downloading and all the good stuff, dunno if this is a bug with the tekkit client or what. Just wanted to know if it is something I am actually doing wrong, which I don't think it is because I've tried things exactly like other people and it isn't working. It is only the automatic farm making machines not working like the Aroboretum and Peat Bog, etc. The logger and other harvester machines work perfect, and really fast with the factory of redstone engines I have set up attached to it. Any ideas please?
  3. I most definitely am not close enough to spawn for protection, and yeah, I actually had already deleted my technic folder and redowloaded it because I had other stuff that needed fixed.
  4. Yeah that didn't work either. I assume you just did one electrical engine on each and set the geo-thermal generator next to them? I tried it like that and a couple other ways and with some copper cabling. Even plugged two of the engines next to the generator and let them rip, but nothing still. Is this something wrong with the plugin on the server end? I mean, I know he installed it default, and he said he has been very careful not to play with the configs on anything at all. I seriously do not think this is something I am doing wrong at this point, is there some kind of bug possibly???
  5. Alright I'll give that a try as well, I had seen those engines and tried them at one point, but I brought power in from my large power supply with teleport pipes. Guess I'll plug them in closer with some generators and try that.
  6. Okay, so the peat engines are a no go...because I can't get the stupid peat bog machine to work off the previous methods either. I have managed to run the logger, carpenter and moisteners just fine, but I cannot get the peat bog to work, or any of the other automatic "farm" builders. Could somebody please help me figure out why this isn't working? Is it the mod, or is it something I'm doing wrong here? I've looked at countless tutorials now and I'm getting tired of watching like 20-30 minute videos that have 1-2 minutes on the relevant subject.

  8. Alright so, a friend of mine started a tekkit server about a week ago. I've been playing with pretty much no issues at all hardly, which I'm quite thankful for considering all the possible bugs there could be with a huge pack like this, but since I started trying to mess with the automatic farming stuff that comes with forestry mod I can't seem to get them going right for some reason. I'm not sure if this is actually a bug, but I know some of it is working for me, and some is not. I know for a fact that the person running the server left everything on the defaults and has not changed anything about that if that helps. No matter how much power I run into the Arboretum and the Farm for automatic wheat farming, they just will not do the whole farm set up like I have seen in all the videos and tutorials on how to do it. I've tried using up to 50 redstone engines at full power, 25 steam engines running at once, and I can even see the energy running through the lines. I've even tried using the special link that turns EU/t into the energy needed to running through conductive pipes, on the EU end of it I have 36 solar panels running into 6 batboxes and an MFE that are full of power, and I even watch their power drain away into the machines at a rate I expect, but nothing happens. I have the Humus and saplings in the Aboretum, and seeds and dirt in the Farm, but still nothing. Now I know it isn't the entire mod, because obviously I can build the machines, and I can even get the logger to actually work. When I linked it to my solar arrays, it chopped down a full size tree in seconds that had over 30 logs. Could anyone shed some light on why I cannot get the automatic farm creators to activate? Trust me, I've tried a ton of different pipe set ups, and yes I am using conductive pipes. I have done a great deal of research on videos and tutorials on different set ups and tried at least 10 different ones that supposedly work for everyone else. Also, could someone tell me the minimum energy requirements to run one of the machines? I think I ready somewhere it was like 25 units, which is like 25 redstone engines running on it, is that right?
