  1. How do I setup the JXM? Thats worth a shot. Do I put the startup params in the visualvm startup, or in the tekkit.jar startup?
  2. I've had a few PM's for this (Thanks). Looking to transfer this over this weekend. (I am not requesting any money FYI.) Just need someone experienced and wants a large server. Its made between 600-2,000 a month in donations.
  3. This is not set in stone. I'm looking for replies and/or a good general discussion why I should or should not transfer my ownership. I'm not going to disclose the actual server name (wont be hard to find). I own a extremely successful tekkit server, over 3 months we've had roughly 35,000 players log in ( I check this by the player.dat files located in the mc/world/players file). My Co-Owner and myself are working around 70 hours a week (IRL). Short stroy; after two years we dont have time anymore. I'm looking to find a VERY NICE, VERY FRIENDLY, server owner that would like to "absorb" my server files, (spawn, map, permissions, ranks, admins, mods, players, DNS/IP, donations, !!EVERYTHING!!). Basically a copy / paste of my map to your server and flip the switch. I'm willing to log into the server, configure the files, the port, etc. And launch it. I'll switch my URL/DNS to point to your IP. I'm around on skype 24/7 to answer questions on these files. What comes with it? 35,000 players over the past 3 months. Anarchy server - They blow each others bases up and create major factions. Spawn (protected from anarchy) Mob Arenas Amazing "world" spawn. (Hopefully my admins, staff - if you choose- they are ROCK solid). Webdomain ($5 monthy) (Dedicated server $180 monthly) - unless you have one already Ded = 32GB ram, xeon 1270v2, 1gbps connection, 1 tb hdd, 1 ssd 128. Voting system completely configured. Additional: The server files I plan to make a "Suite" and release to the tekkit community to help it thrive for new players - (This server contains all the patches, work arounds, correct banned items. etc. etc). this more than likely will be link to my site where you can download the files from. The person that does decide to take my traffic and host, we can just upload the files directly VIA SSH-FTP. These files will help new tekkit servers get started. The files " aka permissions and complete plugin configurations" are basically professionally done. So multiple people will have this server, but you will take over the playerbase, the name, ownership and everything included. Requests: Keep my admins (unless they screw up) Keep myself and my co-owner as admins. Give me access to help you develop with tekkit updates or fix bugs. You must understand complete knowledge of tekkit, and BUKKIT configs. This server must be released along the lines of tera-nova, or vidplace7 type of server. What do I want out of this? 24 pack newcastle 24 pack newcastle for co-owner You to host this beast. Good ownership (dont let it go to waste). MATURE. Please post to me why you believe you can accept this huge responsibility. I need mature Adults only. Legit services ( I may require skype to view you to login to review server specs ) or otherwise proof of specs. I wont accept anything lower than a xeon 1270v2 with 16GB.   4. Same issue. I believe a player or players know a way to lag the server out. 0 TPS 7AM until 12PM and then everything was fine. Strange strange.
  5. So I've removed buildcraft.. The lag is still very high. I see with /gc I have 8k entities (the clearlag plugin doesn't remove this aswell as /remove items -1). I believe these entities are still screwing us up. (image to large to post) - Here is my latest VisualVM.   6. Yeah I have nolagg to clear every 20 minutes, + I was doing /remove items -1 (worldedit command) but no luck. Stuff stuck in the pipes didn't get removed. I decided... I can remove ALL pipes across the map, then ban crafting, placing or even having a pipe. I looked into redpower.. that is so much better.
  7. I just made a test server, doesn't look like I can simply remove [buildcraft] from the server... throwing errors. Plus the Web-Auction looks like its going to throw a bunch of errors with items that are no longer in the game. Looks like a map reset is in order. ---- Update: I can remove all pipes from the server including inventories + ban pipes and placing existing pipes from bags (can't touch the damn bags). This sounds like the best result. a 'lifeless' buildcraft R.I.P.
  8. So, Generic Buildcraft Pipe Logged in as a Entity and connected to the machines moving tons and tons of pipes How could I fix this? Buildcraft is huge for tekkit ... I can see removing it.. but that's like 1/3 of tekkit
  9. OMG. Nentify. You have saved my life. It's not lagging right now.. but that is so awesome! I was using VisualVM wrong. I cannot thank you enough!
  10. Well, various players over a 5 hour span. thanks Nentify, I used visualVM and did the heap dump ... I don't understand all the classes. Could visualVM point down the exact .class and tell me which mod it is? When I'm back at work I an post the results from the VM.
  11. Here's a new one for me, In the morning 7am-12pm the server TPS will sit at ZERO. In the afternoon / night it's usually 17-18. I'm saying the time frame because I believe it's a player or group of players being retards. Currently disabled: Chunk loaders Anchors Rings Tethers Chickenbones addons ( I need it updated to latest forge ) Solar arrays ( needed updated to forge) ComputerCraft Misc EE items I'm on the iPad so I don't remember what else is banned ATM. The server usually is 40/40 players online throughout the day, but at 7am its only about 20. Notes: CB++ didnt fix this Server restarts every4 hours. Any ideas??? Is this some crazy red stone/ timer machine made to purpouslly keep the server at ZERO TPS. Even after a restart it shoots to zero. I7 2600k 16 GB 550 read /500 write SSD Server2008 MySQL on the machine (about 10k players logged in that)

  14. Not sure I understand your issue, the machines don't work at all?? Or the quarry doesn't move? Have you /op [buildCraft]? Oping the [fake player] makes quarry's dig, dynamite explode etc etc.
