If you guys want, Send me a PM, I have a server running with chunk claiming (Meaning people can't kill you on your chunk or touch/open anything) everyone on the server is more of the team builder. there are people all over building nice stuff and there is just simple rules like cover up your quarry and stuff like that. Also I removed EE2 due to security and OP issues it causes. Everyone seems to be having more fun without it anyway coz getting diamonds is now once again fun rather than just exchanging stuff for it.

He doesn't turn off the computer. He meant that he has a dedicated machine for running the server. Currently at home I run a Dual core 1.6ghz Intel + 3gb ram. <- This computer is really weak but its enough for what i do. Look on Craigslist and buy a cheap old computer off someone (2ghz dualcore + 3-4 gb ram) Install Linux, and SSH into the box and BAM your done. If you do it that way, the computer will cost about 100 - 200$ and as for power and internet that depends on where you live.

I don't understand why you have to reply in such a rude manner. It's not pleasant towards anyone. The only reason i was wondering was because I've seen multiple threads about EE2 regarding if it was going to be kept or not. That's all. Also i wasn't complaining as you portrayed it within your post. I was simply stated my opinion on the matter. No need to be all insulting... Yea, the reason I removed it was so that I don't get warned by moderators/administrators of the forums. so I just simply changed it.

I Hope EE doesn't come back. Unless its only for Single Player. It's way to OP for SMP and bypasses all anti griefing. And disabling items just makes players B1tch at the admins :/

k so my friend is also online (the one who has the same problem, same instructions seemed to have worked) BUT since its not in this case. Do this following: Go into into run and go to "%appdata%" and open on .techniclauncher folder go under tekkit folder delete everything but worlds folder and textures folder (incase you have saved worlds or textures) and launch tekkit once more. repeat first instructions, and update tekkit to manual 3.0.3 patch NOT LATEST!

What? k thats really wierd. K this time it didn't even pop up on my console saying you attempting to connect. Did you try the one i sent? (if not then you have to through appdata... more steps after you confirm)

K just to confirm and make sure is fine go through these steps, open launcher and click options while tekkit is selected click on manual build selection and tick retry after connection timeout then on top right click on "3.0.3 1.2.5 Rec. Build" click ok and and login. close the game and relaunch it (just to make sure settings and updates are saved properly) then try to connect again once more

Try to connect to the IP i sent in a PM it should work

Strange, I know of the update you speak of but is your server running on 3.0.3 or 3.0.4 ? I'll pm you my server IP and see if you can join. If you can then your problem is to make sure to update to 3.0.4
