Did you manually build a portal, or is this the actual end portal? From my experience, the 5x5 Obsidian platform you spawn on is created relevant to the over world position of the end portal. Creating an end portal can spawn you miles from the end mainland if the portal is far from the natural end portal. In my case, we had two manually built end portals quite close to each other. Upon travelling through both, we found two 5x5 obsidian platforms roughly the same distance apart as the portals were. We were nowhere near the end mainland. I do not know any solution for it.

Remember Notch said "if I can't beat Enderman than its too easy". He must be terrible at the game, I mean all you need to do is hack away at their knees. I would love to see a difficult Enderman, if you were to accidentally to look directly at an Enderman, you would know that nothing can save you.

So what are Azanor's plans for Thaumcraft and other mods? I would love to see an SMP Thaumcraft, but I'm sure any mod he makes will be amazing.

Here's something I did, create a system that will automatically craft a nuclear reactor from just the ores using logistic pipes. I have it so all the ores stay in a chest unrefined, until something is requested. The ores go to an array of maceraters and furnaces where they are refined. Each ore type has its own macerator and furnace with over clockers. Afterwards all the ores go to a large system of automatic crafting tables. Coal will be macerated into dust then crafted into carbon mesh. Both advanced alloys and carbon plates auto compressed and sent to various crafting tables. Non-stackable items need satellite logistics pipes, items like the reactor plates and heat dispersing plates. In total the reactor uses around 20-30 crafting logistics pipes. Depending on the number of overclockers you have, the entire process will take 3-5 minutes. It looks amazing though, seeing all the ores zip out of one chest travelling to their respective macerators and furnaces, activating them all at once. Then seeing the refined ores making their way through the crafting grid, until the required items are prepared. Then finally seeing the one reactor block making its way back to you.

Also with the update you and your Mac will gain the ability to traverse mountainous terrain with ease.

Works just fine for me, oddly Technic seems to be hogging less resources than before yet running fine. I havnt touched the Java setting or anything related. If you do upgrade, just run Safari before Technic, it will ask you if you want to update Java for Mountain Lion. I found one minor incompatibility though, using mission control can occasionally hide the Technic window, but clicking anywhere brings it back. That's the only issue I found.

The best part if Thaumcraft, in my opinion is the research which ironically put me off the idea of using it to begin with. It's a great feeling when you discover the tools and stuff. It makes them exciting to use.

Also the Thaumcraft visuals are just amazing in Minecraft terms, Azanor could have made just another few ore blocks for the vis crystals, but no he made actual transparent crystals which grow over time. If that is not Technical enough for you, there is a Thaumic Generator to convert Vis to EU or MJ or Bluetricity.

I don’t think anyone with the sole intention of griefing would be intelligent or patient enough to learn a small bit of lua to destroy someone’s creation.

As far as I know, this will be the longest wait between updates as the mods have to adapt to the new way Minecraft is coded i.e. the SSP and SMP merge. The currently SSP only mods will be most affected by this. As I see it, we probably won’t see a recommended build for a good while.

All that means is now you have the chance to build it bigger and better, plus now with the experience you have from before you will have the relay in half the time.

Before you login in the launcher, click options and check Manual build selection, then chose the build you were previously on. If you were using the Reccomended build of Technic 6 chose 6.0.7 I believe. Now replace the save with your back up save.

It accelerates the process of natural selection by slowly killing off the dumb people who use it. An example of the thoughts running through such a person’s mind; “No I shouldn’t, bath salts are dangerous. YOLO”… “That homeless man looks tasty…” That’s probably inappropriate, please don’t take me seriously. I know there are flaws in my theory but I find it amusing.
