Hint: care about spawn killer!
run into lava is no problem, u have ring of ignition.

- add void ring,
- add ring of ignition before every other item!
- add Solar panel
- add Lever
the reason why I did not add armor:
- Defense is for noobs
- we want max dmg

SOLUTION:
if u have a lot of item_id set to 0 in mod_EE.props in order to ban them.
change them to -1.
Problem solved.

Can I change id of the tool in the map?
This happens only on linux server

ok i changed the id of it in mod_EE.props to 0

most important is the x before the id.

and seriously why do i have to enable every block?
if u type modifyworld.* u unable everything.
why is the default option not allow everything, but the stuff i disable using -modifyworld.blocks.* after modifyworld.*

I run a creative tekkit server.
And I have trouble to deactivate Destructive stuff.
I want to ban those stuffs.
What is the best way to do it, for creative players with NEI.

People with creative mode can still spawn **** with edited mod_EE.props
that is why modifyworld is the way to go

Also, not all server virtualization software can handle java very good. Sometimes moving the server out of a virtualized environment and into the main machine can remove strange limits like it being able to use only one CPU thread.
Just throwing ideas here... hope it helps... I can't really know if there exists some very specific thing in your configurations that fucks up everything else...
I use only 1 CPU for some reason, how do I solve it?
I can deactivate buildcraft to test...
