No, you should just use the root directory, it's a server.. >.<

You have to delete every file which is on the server now, and then add the Tekkit files, all of them! If your hoster requires you to rename your Tekkit.jar to minecraft_server.jar then do that too. By the way, you really should work on your punctuation. It changes the way of reading it.

I'm having the same problem. I tried every little thing you have to do before you post this. I updated JAVA, restarted my computer, re-plugged the headphones, re-installed JAVA, re-installed Tekkit. But nothing works. Try to use 1.5 GB of RAM, it works for me. But my game crashes when I use so much RAM.. Hopefully someone will help us out!

Hello! Have you set your spawn there because the quarry doesn't work then!

Settings > Video Settings > GUI > Normal - Large or Small don't set this on Auto because then the items won't show.
