Why don't you just use combustion engines.

That is exactly like my server but I am not running it right now. I prefer a place to just play tekkit as it is. :D

I'm sorry I can't help you fix this problem, but I think this may be happening to me too. Could you please tell me where you found out that this connection was opened? I am using 5 GB/day that are unaccounted for.
