1. OH go away from this thread if you don't like anything HD. I personally think 64x is alright, but 128x is good. I've played MC at 512x and trust me; it's worth it. It's personal preference really. You obviously prefer lower res stuff...
2. Looking good! Good luck with sorting it. I have no idea where you'll find a Tekkit template though...
3. It's very good to hear that someone is trying to make something awesome! I understand that it takes a long time, especially since there are at least 3 times the amount of textures to do with Tekkit! Haha. Anyways, good luck with that, and I hope it turns out well!
4. I've not had any problems with the tablet until now. Upon googling, I find this thread. Upon reading said thread, I find it's likely Multi-verse/world. Which is a plugin that I added a couple of days ago... DAMMIT! Still no fix then? And the only way for it to be fixed is if the EE Devi fixes it?
5. I'm having the exact same problem, and have done for a while. What intrigues me though, is that a very similar computer sitting right next to me works perfectly!!! How is this? Both are running 64 bit java 7. Only difference I can possibly think it'd be is that I have AMD Eyefinity running on my main PC and the other one does not. Are you running eyefinity too, or possibly Nvidia surround? Maybe just having two monitors plugged in causes issues too?
6. Haha. Yeah, I'd figured that out. And I would make it myself, but I have absolutely no creativity and absolutely no idea where to start with graphic design either. All I'm asking is that if there is anyone that reads these forums that IS creative, and knows how to make textures, would be so kind as to put some of their effort into making some nice textures for us people.
7. Hi everyone, I love HD texture packs, and in general, I don't mind Sphax. But I HATE the textures for half the mods in Sphax (mostly IC2 stuff is awful, IMO). What I'm looking for is something like Aageon's Bumpmaft Texture Pack or even default style MC 128x or better but with Tekkit support. If anyone has time to create this, I'd really love it! I'm sure there are other people out there who like HD but don't particularly like Sphax that would also appreciate this. Thanks in advance! PS: How much would it kill a computer to run Tekkit with a 512x pack. I can run a 512x fine with normal MC and MCPatcher, but even 16x16 starts to slow me down with Tekkit and a LOT of stuff going on. (I have 3930k, 7970 and 32GB RAM (16GB dedicated to MC) so it takes a lot to bring me down).
8. Well it's controlled by Wireless Redstone, so they are attached, it's not specifically from RP2 but it's designed to work with it. But as said, it's not RP2 that crashes, it's WR. I have right clicked WR modules and it's crashed me. No signal or anything, not connected to one of the RP2 quarries just WR on its own.
9. After doing some more stuff, I have discovered that it's probably nothing to do with RP2. It seems that Wireless Redstone won't work anymore. I tried using it on SP just to make sure it wasn't the server, and the RP2 quarry works perfectly, but if I try and right click any WR devices, I get a crash. Any ideas? (I'm asking on the WR minecraft forum too, but if anyone here has had and fixed this bug, please post!)
10. Title: RP2 Quarry Crashes Everyone on server Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate Java Version: JRE 7 64 bit Description of Problem: Basically, me and a friend have been building RP2 quarries and mostly, they work. BUT almost every time they move, they will crash everyone on the server Error Messages: None. Just a dirt screen, then white screen. Then have to close MC and restart. When logged back in, if designed to continue to move, will be working fine and will move correctly until stopped. As soon as moved again, more crashes. Error Log: No server error, just endOfStream for each client. 11. I'll maybe try that sometime. It'll save having to change the volume by 1% every time I warp back to the house as well!
12. It works. Thanks for pointing this out. I'm just testing putting Transformer upgrades into them and using HV.
13. Thanks. For now I have decided to move house... 2km away. Tranferring power across BC pipes. Haha! This is going to be fun. I would rather not use RP2 for the sorting as it's overly complicated and not as good for big storage rooms. It works for small storage rooms with only a few systems, but when you've got about 60 diamond pipes, coverting to RP2 is OTT complicated.
14. THANK YOU! I will test this when I stop playing Guitar Hero and if it works. Thank you very much.
15. Update: I have now witnessed this problem in a number of ways, however It may be something to do with advanced machines only (from the addon). If I place an advanced compressor down in the middle of the room and put in an energy crystal, it won't work. Also, my friends house has a few adv. machines, and one of them won't work.
16. Well I've muddled around with all the settings a lot. My render distance makes absolutely no difference around the house though usually it sits on far. Also, I left it over night, when I logged back in, all the items in the pipes had disappeared, thankfully, but my framerate is still unplayably low. I get better FPS in BF3 for gods sake! I have the feeling there may be something the tiniest bit dodgy with the drivers installed on this computer as when I built it (a few weeks ago) I got some errors during Windows install which I found random workaraounds. I still don't believe it worked properly though. Everythign else seems to work fine but such low fps in MC? Away from the house, I get over 200+fps which makes is what I'd expect. I mean, when I was fiddling with settings, on lowest, I saw the framerate go over 775fps in the same world. Within about 50 blocks of the house I was still getting over a 100 or so, I could see some of the chests, another few blocks and it just instantly drops to around 20fps.
17. Here's a few snaps of the storage system. Almost every single one of the items you see in the pipes, is not actually there. Breaking pipes and replace makes the ones in that pipe disappear entirely. Not fall to the ground or anything. 18. Title: Pipes with GUIs sometimes crash client Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate Java Version: JRE 7 64 bit Description of Problem: I have a storage room that had a lot of distribution pipes in it. These almost always caused a crash for the client. This occurred with myself and any other people who tried right-clicking them. Error Messages: I have been avoiding these pipes altogether and haven't had a crash for a few days and I've only just made an account to report a couple of other bugs so I don't have a report. Error Log: Same as above.
19. Raging at Tekkit bugs etc yet have spent the last two weeks playing it solidly.....

20. Well I guessed that would be it too. But as I said, it was like this before I upgraded and it was still normal MC chests. Admittedly, my FPS was a few more, but only about 25fps rather than <20. (Thanks for super fast reply!)
21. Title: Extra low FPS when friends on reasonable FPS Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate Java Version: JRE 7 64 bit Description of Problem: I have a house, with a fancy storage system, a lot of machines, 3 reactors and some solar arrays, about 10 or so MFSUs, a few energy links and a few adv. furnaces, macerators, compressors and extractors and then 4 Mass fabricators too. The storage system sorts all my items into around 240 crystal chests. (but this is irrelevant as it was like this before I upgraded the storage room). If I go away from my house, I get framerates nearing 500+ with all settings put high and a 64x texture pack. If I go near the house, with all settings on low, and default, I get <20fps. My friend in a different country to me (and the server which is within 2 metres of me across gigabit LAN), get's mid hundreds away from this house and around 40-50fps around it. Why would this be, and how is this?! (My computer is more powerful than his) Error Messages: N/A Error Log: N/A
22. Title: Machines using power but not working at all Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4 OS: Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate Java Version: JRE 7 64 bit Description of Problem: Basically, I have 6 MFSUs (in parallel) going into an MV transformer, that then goes to an assortment of machines. I have 2 centrifuge extractors above each other, and 2 adv. compressors above each other along with 6 induction furnaces and rotary macerators on the same power grid. Each machine has a switch next to it to power it. The problem, is that all the machines except one extractor and one compressor, work fine. If I have all machines off but the extractors and compressors, the top ones will not work but the bottom ones will. They are all taking power according to my EU-reader and the wires are taking EUs as well. But they just aren't taking any EUs into storage. Error Messages: N/A Error Log: N/A
