Hey I'm a new player and I was looking at this forum for a server, yours sounds nice so I thought I'd join but there aren't any spots left
seeing that you only have 10 slots I think you should get more slots, if possible...The server keeps crashing for the following reasons:1. The motherboard on the server is going bad the networking part cuts out and wont fix itself until I restart the server.
2. The graphics card on the servers fans burned out so when the card overheats that crashes the server.
3. The server runs out of memory (not a whole lot I can do about that until I get more memory)
4. General software issues in tekkit. (lets face it there are a lot of these)
So what I need to do is rebuild the server I can do this on my own but it will take a few months for me to save up the money.
Stuff I need:
AMD FX-8150 Zambezi 3.6GHz Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor $199.99
BIOSTAR TA990FXE AM3+ AMD 990FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard $129.99
Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 32GB (4 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) $159.99
A Video card (This I will pay in full my self)
Grand Total: ~$500
If I can manage to get about half of that from donations then I can do this.(~$250) With the new hardware the server could run lagless with 30+ players, It could probably handle more then that but I think 30 is what I would want max on the server anyway.
So you can now use /buy on the server to get VIP.
1. Reserved slot
2. Colored name (green)
3. 32 HV solar arrays
4. 64 Red matter
If you want to donate more then $5 send it to [email protected] on paypal.

vip slot stil broken
it isn't broken but if the server has 9 people and a VIP joins it will fill the slot until someone leaves.

um my house was literally obliterated theres just a crater left i have no idea what happened
Basically the plugin that normaly keeps that kinda stuff from happening broke + a griefer.

The server had a severe hardware failure. Parts of the world may have been corrupted.

wow does the server realy have only 10 slots now?
Ya the server has been having some issues so to hopefully cut down on the crashes and lag i dropped the number of players down.

is the server down i cant connect and ive tried everything i can think ofdid the server just crash? got disconnected, and don't have any connection to the serverServer down? Today I have no life so I depend on this server :l
Figured out what was causing that, A cable in the server went bad and was causing the server to lose internet and lag. Should be fixed now.

I agree with that guy, we NEED factions... and a sethome... and a spawn with rules (I can sacrifice some time to help you build it if you want, I have expirience with building spawns/spawntowns)
We don't need factions, we have a way to set homes and we don't need the rules in spawn because the only way to find this server is this forum and the rules are clearly posted right below the IP.
I might start looking for some people to act as janitors to help clean up protected blocks for people.

also minecraftmaste is swearing and he also coverd spawn with LAVA!!
so he is a griefer please ban him!!!
I banned him. I also managed to crash the server trying to fix the grief so the servers gonna be down until I get home in 6 hours.

Vash, What's going on, server has been down almost all day. I am missing my set up.
The internet crapped out I've been working with my ISP to get it fixed but it looks like the problem is on their end. Thats also the main reason the server lags a lot around noon CST.

Server wont run this is the error, I have no idea how to fix it.

Can't start the server until this is fixed so if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it let me know
*edit* Never mind I restarted the server a few times and its working fine now.
