Hello everyone. As the title pretty much describes, I want to start a coop let's play with Tekkit, when it is released. I am searching for another player to do this with. Here is a little about requirements: [li]Must have a decent microphone with Mumble client.[/li] [li]Age: 15 or above.[/li] [li]Tekkit, ofcourse.[/li] [li]Some knowledge about some of the mods in Tekkit.[/li] [li]Maybe being able to record your own videos, this will be discussed after you have been chosen.[/li] [li]Be able to speak pretty good English so it's easy to understand what you're saying.[/li] [li]Be able to record about twice a week, with set dates and times for easier organisation.[/li] These are the requirements. The kind of person i'm mostly on the lookout for is someone who can give the videos more of a creative/silly touch, as I'm more of a technical person. So, a bit about myself: I am 16 years old and live in Denmark. Since i live in Denmark, you should either live in Europe too or if you live in USA, be able to record in the morning or by noon, maybe a bit after noon because of the time difference. I have played Minecraft since the release of beta, and plan on becoming a game developer myself some day. I am currently studying, which is usually from 8-14 here in Denmark which is +1 timezone. The technical part: I will be taking care of most of the technical part like filming, editing, uploading etc. altough, there may be parts where you will have to do some stuff, depends. If you fit all the requirements and want to do this with me, please write an apply, telling a little about yourself, what you do, why you want to make videos with me and what you can contribute with. Hopefully i will write back soon and maybe we can talk a bit more with each other so we can get to know each other a bit better.

Well, i didn't say it didn't happen either.. Just wanted to tell you. But i also support that you should just focus on real life problems first in 99% of the cases. Also, you guys have done such a great job with Technic Pack and the launcher and the forums, it's all the wait worth. And i am kinda surprised that i have only seen 1 person ask for an ETA, which means moderating forums is also really, really, really, really, really, really, really good. Really.

Okay, not to be rude, no offense and i am fully supporting this, but noone said something about anyone actually dying...

I kinda meant which resolution of the texturepack you're using. Maybe you also used an outdated texture for one of the mods?

Well, what is the things you dont like it? Because if it isn't in your jar, it could be another mod.

This has happened to quite a few people actually. I've seen 3 or more posts with the exact same error, so i dont think he changed it. Maybe it's an error when updating, that the launcher won't update Railcraft configs?

Ok, this seems to be getting nowhere, and i have a feeling neither of us will change our minds xD So we should just stop arguing :P

Well, he didn't ask "what is your opinion on EE?" He asked the dev's if they're going to add it.

Well, he asked a question, he didn't want to start why people wanted EE. He just want's someone to answer him. Even mods can sometimes get ripped away by reading other peoples post. On topic: I for one think they will add it, since after what i have read of posts, the dev's love it. Altough they may include easy ways to disable it.

Ok, this happened to a few other people. What should do the trick, is to completely delete your technic folder by going to %appdata%\.techniclauncher and delete the technicssp folder. Remember to backup your saves and other things you need backed up :)

First priority right now is Tekkit.... Also, you can use MC Nostalgia to go back to 1.0 Would require that you have the installer of Technic Pack 5 itself first though :)

First up, what is an MREU? Are you possibly talking about the MFSU or the MFE? Either case, you are sending too high of a voltage to the miner. Look at this post. Especially part 3.

Yo dawg, i heard you like diamonds, so we made a collector so you can get diamonds while you get diamonds in your mines!

Yeah, but once you got the first collector, you should also have a lot of other materials, so you could start making machines and such while it collects for you. And then you upgrade it to collect even more and ultimately you'll have a diamond every second... Yeah, but the first collector is only 9 diamonds and once you have that, you'll just keep accumulating EMC. And if you use the divining rod to find diamonds, you'll have 9 in no time :)

Why dont you want to connect to minecraft.net?

Well, it should actually be the mod dev's of the blocks that doesn't work, because they need to have their machine in some way connected to the player. If the dev's of the towny/worldguard made all machines available to work, a random dude could just come over with his filler and remove the whole city. So you need to talk to Buildcraft/IC2/Redpower/Minefactory/etc devs

Hmm.. I'm using that one too, and i'm not having any lag. How big is the resolution you're using?

It's probably the texture pack. Which one are you using?

Well, you can just make a flower to generate EMC that goes into a Klein Star and then use that in the transmutation tablet... Free items :|

I also feel like some of the tools in EE are based of World Edit ^^
