Title: Wind farm shenanigans, not charging MFE Version: 3.1.2 OS: Win7 64bit Java Version: JDK 64bit Description of Problem: I have four windmills, each on the end of a 10-block length of glass fibre cable, with a MFE in the middle. Glass fibre cable runs down from the MFE into a LV transformer where it's cabled up to my machines. This is to stop any power from being lost by the distance between the windmills and the MFE. This is all situated at something like layer 240-245, which has never been a problem before. It should be going like the clappers but the MFE just isn't taking power from the windmills for some reason and I am thoroughly baffled, especially since I stuck an LV solar array into the top face of the MFE and it's taking charge from that. Taking the MFE off and putting it back seemed to get it taking some charge from the windmills but it was very nearly nothing at all and it spontaneously stops and starts apparently at random. I ran a much bigger setup than what I have now off the same arrangement with no trouble whatsoever in a different world with the same settings but there's not enough power for any of my machines to run this time and they all sound like death. Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated. Error Messages: No error messages, just that horrible wheezing sound that machines make when they run out of power. Over and over again. So I moved the Energy Link to put in a wooden conductive pipe and it didn't actually work when I hooked it up, but then when I took the pipe out and moved the Energy Link back to being next to the quarry it all started working again. WELL WHATEVER BRO OKAY THEN Thanks for your help, dude. :D

Title: Quarry Not Functioning After Update - NOW WITH PICTURES Version: 3.1.2 OS: Win7 64bit Java Version: JDK 64bit Description of Problem: Since the update, my quarry - which was working perfectly before the update - on its setup of four windfarms connected to an MFE and from there directly to an Energy Link with all glass fibre cable has lost all power and stopped working. I've since had to slap two redstone engines onto it just to see if I can keep it ticking over but obviously they don't do very much. Yeah, Crafting Table III is gone, I think. Mine vanished clean out of my house and now I am heartbroken and destitute.

Sorry to bump but I really need an answer for this. Quarry has completely lost power since update was installed, can't figure out why.

I've got the same problem, my rotary macerator and singularity compressor were fine before the update but now they seem to have lost their textures and appear as plain white blocks.

I'm having the same problem, my Electrolyzer is sitting right next to an MFE and it's not getting any charge at all.

You're kidding. Am I talking about the right thing? The one that shows you what you can make out of the materials you're carrying and just does it for you? That's removed? I think I'm going to cry. In that case, it's just the quarry. Has the height at which wind farms become effective been changed again?

Sorry to bump my own thread but I've discovered another problem since the update went on. I'm missing my Crafting Table II. The thing just vanished out of my house and no longer appears in the recipes list. I am baffled and heartbroken. EDIT: Additionally, a number of Railcraft recipes don't seem to work. They're listed but when I try to make some basic tracks (six standard rail, one stone railbed) either in the crafting table or the rolling machine, it won't actually craft. This update is nightmarish.

I'm actually playing singleplayer, but it's interesting that multiplayer has the same issue. Editing OP to reflect this.

Title: Quarry Not Running Since Update Version: 3.1.2 OS: Win7 64bit Java Version: JDK 64bit Description of Problem: So I finally got the quarry working (thanks, guys!) but I started Tekkit up after the update and the quarry just slowly lost power until it failed completely. It's now attempting to run on three redstone engines and it doesn't seem to be receiving any power through its energy link at all. Up until yesterday the quarry was running beautifully on its own power source, four wind farms connected in the middle by an MFE with all glass fibre cable that runs all the way down to ground level and up to the energy link. I assumed that it might just be that the wind had died down but after three in-game days (including one with a storm) the quarry has remained utterly dead and I have no idea why. Any clues? EDIT: I should probably mention that I'm playing singleplayer and have been since I got it working with no trouble. Interesting to see that someone else is having the same issue on a multiplayer game. Error Messages: No error messages. Error Log: N/A

Title: Quarry Defaulting to 9x9, Ignoring Landmarks Version: 3.1.1 OS: Win7 64bit Java Version: JDK 64bit Description of Problem: When placing a quarry, it fails to recognise any landmarks that are placed and activated and keeps defaulting to the normal 9x9 quarry area. The first landmark is placed next to where the quarry will be, the others all connect up no problem when activated, I've been recommended to activate the first one again and then to place the quarry as this is a known bug but it doesn't seem to have helped since I'm still getting the same issue. I've also tried pointing the quarry in another direction, moving the quarry and using redstone torches to get the blue guidelines from the landmarks before placing and activating them. The quarry itself is powered by a couple of redstone engines and works perfectly well, it just ignores the landmarks every damn time I place it down and keeps defaulting to 9x9. I am going to scream. Error Messages: There are no error messages, just the red line from the landmarks and the black and yellow line from the quarry's default 9x9 area clipping through each other and looking weird where they line up. Well, I've got an update: I don't know what I did but Tekkit works just fine now, except for a couple of known bugs, e.g., the quarry not recognising landmarks. I am thoroughly confused but not complaining. Thanks to everyone who tried to help, though,
