  1. The World Edit CUI needs to be added to the Bukkit server jar file but when I do the Tekkit/Technic Launcher stops with an error as the jar file is no longer "clean". How can I use the WE CUI with Tekkit?
  2. When I go to the Nether there's nothing there except solid Netherrack with a couple of ore blocks mixed in. The portal spawned and I had to dig out enough room for me to move around. I then dug a tunnel in one direction for a couple of hundred blocks without emerging anywhere. I decided to use MCEdit to see what was going on but it just gave me an error message: "It looks like this level is completely empty! You'll have to create some chunks before you can get started." Any suggestions as to what might be happening? And how do I fix it?
  3. If anyone's interested, I've just put a copy of my huge (500mb) vanilla world into the Tekkit "saves" folder, used MCEdit's chunk tool to delete a test area and when Tekkit regenerated that area it was the same topography as before but had the new Tekkit ores in! :-) Strangely enough there was a little overspill of Tekkit ores and purple plants from the deleted test area into the surrounding (vanilla) area that wasn't deleted.
  4. Thanks! :-) I guess the best thing to do is just go for it and see what happens....
  5. How do I enable the entities radar on Rei's for my 2-player LAN server?
  6. No. It would not be easier. By far. I've been working on this map for months. That is not an option.
  7. I have a vanilla MC map that I would like to use in Tekkit. If I use MCEdit to delete chunks that I've explored but not built on can I use that vanilla Minecraft map in Tekkit? The deleting chunks thing is so that the Tekkit ores can spawn in my old map (but obviously not under my structures).
  8. Launcher Version: 3.1.2 Operating System: XP SP3, 2GB RAM, Dual core Athlon 3800+, 32bit Java Version: 1.7 Antivirus Program: Avast Description of Problem: I'm trying to create an MP LAN server so I've downloaded the serevr zip file but when I run the launcher.bat it errors out. Error Messages: Error occurered during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit. Error Log:
  9. I want to try Tekkit so I downloaded the Technic Launcher and the Tekkit Server 3.1.1 zip file. I clicked on the Launcher file and it downloaded something then nothing happened. I watched a YouTube video on how to install Tekkit and apprently the Launcher was supposed to start but still nothing happened. Is this a known issue? If so, what was the cause? I'm running Windows XP sp3, Java 1.7, normally running a Bukkit server using MicroCraft GUI. MC is 1.2.5 with Magic Launcher and a small number of mods and Bukkit plugins.
