  1. No, I wasn't running spout. Just a regular minecraft map. It is, which probably causes it, 1.4.2. Meaning; slabs are upside-down (at some places), stairs the same. I do have backups of course, but having to worldedit all failed blocks back.. No ty.
  2. Yes, I did search. No, I didn't find anything. If there is already a thread about it, please don't rage, just link me to there (if answered). Hi, A while back I made an awesome city(spawn) on my old server, which was "vanilla" (Not really, since there were many plugins, hence the ""). Now, since I am switching from vanilla to tekkit, I uploaded my map to the new host, and found out that it replaces may things with mod items. For example: Instead of wooden slabs, I now get energy collectors, or Nova Cataclysms. Instead of some blocks, I get air, leaving a giant gaping hole in my floor. Is there any (easy) way to fix this? Regards.
  3. Hi, I just made a factory for HV-Solar-Arrays, and got stuck on a problem: I have 3 RedPower crafting tables that use redstone, and got one chest with redstone. I am using Retreivers to get items out of the chest in the crafting table, but when the 2nd and 3rd crafting table that use redstone (they are in a line) request redstone, it all goes to the first one.. Is there an easy fix for this, without having to redo my whole factory? No, I can't use filters pumping items around, since it goofz up the whole system even more. Regards.
  4. Zach, as I said, I can't get NoItem to work. Might be me, but I can still craft the items... York, it might be me too that I cant get PEX + Essentials... Probably cuz I have always used GM. Ill try DisableCraft now. Ty.
  5. Yes, I know there are like 10 000 threads out there, but all I found were either: PEX + ModifyWorld (which I can't get to work with Essentials, so I use GroupManager) NoItem (which I can't get to work with modded items) Vanilla Items Does anyone know how to disable the crafting of items using: some plugin that works with GroupManager Essentials (can only find usage and placement etc. no crafting) Please don't tell me there are 10 000 threads out there, link me to a good one!
  6. I found these 3: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/choosing-a-server-please-help.22292/ Are they any good?
  7. I have hosted about 20-25 players at the same time no lag, with my "shitty" internet. So that is no problem. Also, yes, I am thinking about upgrading to glasvezel (100MB/s up and down)
  8. So which of the three servers is the best to use for this?
  9. I have 3 servers, configured, with a print screen: Note: All three are Dell PowerEdge 2950's. They differ in generation (I, II, III). - http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/402/screenshot20120822at103.png/ - http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/594/screenshot20120822at103.png/ - http://imageshack.us/f/18/screenshot20120822at115.png/ My Internet Speed: Down: 40MB/s Up: 4MB/s My question: Which server will work best, and will they be able to host: 24/7, 10-15 players.
  10. I can perfectly run a tekkit server from my MacBook Pro 13" 8GB Ram. Ps. Linux sucks.
  11. So do you have any link to a server which has that, for around 300$ ?
  12. I found the dell poweredge 2950 for 299$. But... when I click customise, it already adds 200$. http://store.flagshiptech.com/dell-poweredge-2950-2x-2-0ghz-dual-core-intel-xeon-5130-cpus-4gb/ Will this do, without configuring, and maybe upgrading the ram to 6/8GB myself?
  13. I cant seem to find any servers on alternate.nl ?
  14. I have to go to work now, but I'll check it out in 2 or 3 hours. Thanks!

  16. This is a great find, and an awesome machine. But... It only ships in the US. I live in the Netherlands. Its kinda far to travel don't you think?
  17. So... I have been looking around again, but all the servers I could find seemed either sucky or too expensive. Does anyone have a good brand I can look into, or maybe a good server I can buy?
  18. With the help you have been, I don't blame you at all! :)
  19. I wasn't intending on letting it go any further into an argument, I just wanted to make sure that you understood what I was looking for.
  20. I know, I have read your post. But the fact still is that I know what I want, and that is not a monthly payment.
  21. As I have said be4: No monthly payments! I want hardware, not some internet software!
  22. The problem i have with water cooling is: What if it brakes. Then you drown your computer/server!
  23. I have no problem with building it myself, IF I can find a good tutorial on youtube :P
