    Why is the server whitelisted?

    I'm wondering the same thing as Jason. Why is the server all of sudden whitelisted? Is it for maintenance or is it going to be like that permanently? I just joined the server a few days ago and would hate for that to happen.

    When I joined this server, I thought I was going to have fun. But when I try to join it, it's down. Why is this? Whenever I try to join it, it's down. Also, you're not the first server to be running bukkit on voltz.

    Jason: Server was whitelisted for maintenance , to fix major lag and also bugs and to fix one plugin, which we can happily say we reduced lag by 75% Tps is now constantly 18 and above [Average is 18.5]. Also we fixed some crashing bugs, and also fixed buycraft.

    ArmyStrong, Whitelist was just to fix some issues,

    Wiliame007, whitelist is off join back :), and also we were one of the first servers to implement bukkit

    In all news: Server is up and RUNNING with 75% Less lag and we fixed lots of Bugs!

    We Cant get a refund for our server so we will be sadly with this host for 1 MONTH :(, if we get enough donations to buy a new machine [With out getting the refund] We will purchase the new machine, we have one in mind from a brand new host, That has excellent reviews and the machine we are buying is very powerful. Its between a Hex Core Server with 96GB ram or Quad Core Server with 64GB ram, but the decision really matters on how much donations we get from our server network [from Tekkit + Voltz]

    can anyone help me out I cant seem to be able to get mekanism 5.0.11 and i really want to go on this server

    Go to Technic Launcher select Voltz, go to OPTIONS [on the launcher] select 1.0.9 Build {Devlopment Version] then click CLEAR CACHE then click OKAY and then Login :)

    I was banned because I was korean. That isn't right. I suggest all members of this community to boycott this server for racism. Thank you and I hope you understand.

    You Were banned for a Reason, You were banned because your were A) Repeating the same message B) You were saying North Korea, Nazi Germany Over and Over.

    We have numerous Witness and I am one of the witness ,plus you were in Teamspeak, Saying "Cunt" [sorry Technic Forums If that is a word im not allowed to say but he said it]. If you want to be Unbanned go to our website an appeal your Ban.

    Here's my suggestions as a player and moderator who play on Anarchy, PVP, Build, etc.

    1. Reset the map for every Voltz update (without resetting the map after updating will more likely to corrupt the map thus increase lags. In a protected area, there should be a vault room for every player should the server have to be reset again because of the Voltz update. All of their belonging including machines goes into the chest. If not, would be important to reset the map just once for the purpose of limiting the map size.

    2. You should add a World Border or auto delete (beyound the border) to limit the map from X -10 k to 10 k in rectangle radius. Then, have all your trusted staffs go into creative mode then fly all over 75% of the map to warm up and generate the chunks for players. The rest of the 25% should be up for player's exploring and load the remaining chunks. However, we should remind ourselves that the Voltz and Tekkit Lite may behave like beta and lag the finest server. To reduce server's stress is to shrink the size of the map. Players have gone a long distance discouraging player from raiding and thus increase greater search distance that will definitely grind the server to a halt.

    Along with bordering, the purpose for limiting map size should help players with little to no desire to learn Voltz or players without background experience in Tekkit to find another server because there are more serious gamer that want to play on the server but can't dues to server slot full or lag. Again, the server should avoid being full server.

    3. Establish a 1-3 months period donation package and offer a no ban for donators but restrict certain perk should the perk been abuse. People who donate are less likely to cheat and grief the server. However, donator including non-donator should have their inventory, money balance, and their personal belong not to be confuse with clan's property wipe should they decided to break the server rules.

    People have donated over $100 for 3 month periods. There are people that have money. Please don't be a hero and bite more than what you can chew on the server's operation cost. The money will definitely keep the server slots high. However, Voltz and Tekkit Lite can still behave like beta and lag or bug glitch the server making even powerful server machine lag out.

    4. Better clan plugin and hero chat (or other compatiable chat plugin) should keep the chat clutter down. With lot of people chatting, the appearance on the screen can be almost no different than people that are spamming. Having a better clan plugin or a plugin that doesn't break down and cause players' to lose their clan tag, would increase social networking among players. Players are more likely to bring other players if the clan plugin help them work together. Having more people work together in a fewer chunk can definitely save the server's resource. It would also be recommended that the clan plugin have some clan's security to reduce betrayal or clan split.

    5. Please make sure that the server restart more often and that the admin be there. Server is more likely to retain players and less likely to lag if the captain of the ship, server admin, manage the server's restart operation or at least reduce the auto restart timer for automated server restart. There are time where the server may not follow the server's timer protocul and not restart so this would be good for having someone there should that happen.

    6. Would encourage moderator and administrator to follow the protocul to take all evidence and avoid passing judgement on hearsay should this may discourage players or potential donators to think that rule breaker is being avoid and make players feel that the server is "rigged with hacker and cheater". As for the players, they should provide screenshot but in more difficult situation should be recorded in FRAPS for video evidence. Forgery is a rare case but a common practice by troll which may taint the evidence that would make the player look bad. There are reasons why evidence should be screenshot and video not notepad. If there are players sharing their expertise on certain mods, please give them immunity and should they abuse it for their personal gains. They should be punish.

    Please don't mute players based on emotional decision. If they are spamming or insulting the staff, this is an exceptional action. Muting a player based on disagreement shouldn't be the case. All great mind think alike. If there are less viewpoint, there won't be a whole lot of information that could have been consider.

    If people can't get a hold of the staff in TeamSpeak, they should get familiar with the Skype and communicate. This is an easier way for players to distribute their evidence to back their report. If there are donators, please allow them part of the call with the staff. It shows the appreciation and allow you to show an open mind to hear what investors have to say about your server. You, as the server owner, have the veto power because you own the server.

    Are you even on your server 1/2 the time when your admins ban people? they don't even take the effort to type the reason. Your server is broadcasting WE HAVE BUKKIT, when all you did is copy a damned bukkitforge.jar into your coremods and you think it's like WE HAVE BIGGER BALLS THEN THAT SERVER! :D:D:D:d: no not really, dragging over folders and making prefixes in groupmanager doesn't make you special. You say NO LAG in the title when your server lags every 2 minutes, NOTHING BANNEd, you have a EMP tower at spawn, if someone wants to bomb a base and spawn is inbetween, it stops PVP. and you have MANY unfixable exploits that you don't know how to fix because you want to use essentials spawn. -..- your being HIGHLY rude on your forum post to all the people who just get kicked off the server with no reason given. Yes you are going to be on the recommended list, and out of this forum section were decent servers will be. You kissed the butt of the creator of voltz and this is were you have gone. People on this forum are tired of you and your admins failing to communicate about banns. I didn't do anything on my first account and someone yelled in chat MINIMOOSE12 IS A HACKER, and I was instabanned for being ontop of spawn, LOL. Then I changed my IP and connected with another account and you banned me for telling you an exploit with your plugins,which I know how to fix. If your staff was more courteous maybe you would have more players. I have a dictionary of my friends accounts to use, trust me they arent hard to come by, I'm on your server right now disabling your spawn radars, even after I told you how I did it. I HIGHLY suggest not adding this server to the recommended server list due to lack of communication between players and staff. YOU HAVE A TEAMSPEAK and you still don't communicate well. I am on my mumble with my admin 75% of the day. I took my server down because I was too interested on how yours was going. I used to be apart of team AVO. I know the glitches and hacks to minecraft, I know how to run a server. I know it's not you "Iwireless" specifically, I suggest having an admin meeting over teamspeak to fix this issue in the future. If you wish to speak to me over skype "h2ominimoose1" and for those scrubs who are going to try to boot me down, I am on a VPN(Don't Try). Even if you get my ip, ever heard of IP Filtering? takes 3 minutes to do.

    You need to reestablish your server rules and have a serious staff meeting, btw I'm on your teamspeak aswell. I am not disclosing my name.

    Also, people can make grenades and blow up your spawn anyways, Shrapnel grenade is easy to make, and spammable.

    Well I asked your Staff Polietly 2 times in chat, and then they refused. I have a Dynamic IP and I can just reset my router anytime and so they were threatening to IPBAN me..... I warned goldenJz. Your server is Very Vulnerable. Someone can just get a Steve's StopWatch and make it night time. and Spam Cheap Missles. Your EMP would lose power and then they could drop a much more expensive Missle on it. Or they could break a piece of glass and quickly right click and set your EMP range to 10 and your Radars to 0, 0. I am trying to get you guys to fix this. I have plenty of alternate accounts, I suggest you stop banning me Lol, I just want to improve your already great community.

    We try to protect it as the best we can, there is no great protection system. We will try to make a better one thanks for your input. Also take screenies of abusive staff, and post it on our website.

    I love how the head admin told me that they have used the ICBM commands to protect there spawn but when i came back on 2 hours latter there are blocks on the spawn roof from a sonic missile LOL.

    I dont like talking shit about other servers but i had to show this. This is what one of there regulars told me. The server was having a melt down legit took 10 seconds for chat and commands to come up and would freeze for about 30 seconds at a time. I ask minidude48 how often this happens and as you see below 3 times every 1-2 hours. I have no idea how people put up with this or even stay on the server.

    1GB/s Upload

    My ass could run a better server.

    Either way to all the players on this server i really feel sad for what you guys deal with. Ontop of that no idea how new players stay after getting pvped at spawn soon as u drop out.

    Hey ezio this isnt a hate thread, so you can either post postive comments here or don't at all. We really don't care what you believe in. We had 3 griefs in our server. And none in the last 24 hours. Most servers get griefed everyday. Also If you were an active player you would No that when we started our server, we were on that machine, but it was shared with our other servers, which was a problem for voltz, so we switched to a 6gb ram server, the one ur seeing, and yesterday i bought a brand new 1270v2 32gb box just for Voltz. Come back on Monday or Tuesday and do that and you will see that will change.

    Their server spawn is Vulnerable, Someone can break the glass and right click on your radars and set the range to 0. I tried contacting a staff member to show them how to properly hide your anti-missle system. He just went AFK. You have a glitched spawn chunk with a hole in the roof which people can just jump into your anti-missle area anyway. Even if hid properly people can still flyhack into your spawn and set the range with Freecam. Keep this in mind. I tried my best. Me too as a fellow server owner I know the severity of this situation and this seems to be the only way I can contact your 75% AFK staff team.

    We had this issue addressed already , but thanks for contacting us, our staff team is active. So sorry about that, we will fix it :) We are working on lots of new systems :)
