  1. That's exactly how I had it set up before, the crafting pipe can't pull out R.iron fast enough to meet the demand for the autocrating table. In this case I was making 64 solar panels. The electronic circuit table was shorted r.iron, that's where the hold up was.
  2. Sorry its so late in getting back to you. Here are some pictures. This is where my material comes in to my place. From there it goes to the macerators if its an ore. And then to the furances. From there it goes downstairs to the storage area. Now to add what I said earlier, the reason it couldn't keep up is because I had a crafting pipe on the furnace to make R.Iron. Thus it couldn't pull out fast enough. I have since changed it to an mk2 chassis with item sink and extractor. This is now set up to receive iron ingots to turn into R.iron. I have an entire chest fill with R.Iron now and the furnace will hold the remaining R.Iron, but if its needing more than 64 it will send that and dump what ever else its made on the ground when its full. So Im guessing your solution is probably the best. Im just still trying to understand it.
  3. I am using a request pipe, and although the make on demand seems nice, today it didn't work all that well. I had requested 64 solar panels to make a mv array, it ran out of R.iron and needed to cook some more, I had 39 solar panels already, but once the r.iron started to come from the furnace, it just went to the chest. I had to manually put the r.iron in the circuit auto crafting table, then it took off again, that's why the need for so much r.iron in reserves. It seems making on the fly just won't cut it. Btw the furnace had 10 over clockers in it, but only a crafting pipe attached instead of a mk2 chassis with an advanced extractor mk3 and item sink.
  4. Awe man your going all out thanks, I wish I was at home to show you a picture of the setup. But here it goes. What I'd like is to have the incoming iron ore from the quarry somehow split up into two different directions. One for regular iron, and one for refined (I'm guessing you know that already, I'm just saying it for the sake of saying it) I'm guessing a ration of 3:1 iron:r.iron. We use to be able to do this with one of the buildcraft pipes (cant remember which one) but I'd like to do it with logistics. I could do two networks, the problem is I think I have OCD and like stuff in order. I've never used hoppers as I don't know how they work. When I get off work tonight, I'll post a pic of the setup so you can get an idea. Edit: I don't really need a certain number (30 stacks). Ideally I'd like to have the gold chest full. Edit2: come to think of it, couldn't I just fill the entire chest with r.iron, that way it would only make it when I use some from that chest. The chest will stay full and the regular iron will just continue to pile up?
  5. No that's just the work around, I'd like to know how to process iron and refined iron as it comes in from the quarry using logistic pipes.
  6. I'm redoing my storage and processing area. I used to just make refined iron allat one time. I'd take 10 stacks of iron, and place them in induction furnaces when I'm not running the quarry. I'd do this until I had about 30 stacks or so. Now I'm looking for a way to automate this. Like the tittle says, I'm using logistic pipes exclusively. Currently I have a dedicated chest for R.Iron, that chest has a mk2 chassis pipe with a polymorphic and provider modules. There's also a supplier pipe, that right now is set to keep 9 stacks of R.Iron in the chest, although this is kinda wonky. Then theres an electric furnace with a crafting pipe that tells how to make refined iron. It seems the supplier pipe requests R.iron from the same chest and it just keeps cycling, if it gets low enough the electric furnace will request iron to convert. I'd like to be able to split it up right away as soon as it comes in from the quarry, but using logistic pipes, I haven't found a away.
  7. That was the problem. I replaced it with alloy wire and solved the problem. ALthough its wierd since I didnt have this problem in regular tekkit though. Ah well, heres the pic anyway, updated with alloy wire of course.
  8. Ya know, I did use dust instead of alloy wire, I'll have to try that too.
  9. I'm a yea I know right! In regular tekkit I've built huge red power quarries with no problem, but I make a small wool farm and it barely goes 10 blocks. I'm at work now, I'll post a picture when I get home.
  10. Sorry if this has been asked, but while setting up my multi colored sheep farm, I noticed that the distance a signal can travel on the redstone pneumatic tube is about 10 blocks. Im guessing this was changed in the update of Redpower. How do you get around this?
  11. We tried renting a server thinking that bandwidth was an issue, were are hosting it a servercraft.co I just uploaded the world and the same thing is still happening. Does anyone have any ideas? I literally played all weekend on single player with no issues.
  12. I had my friend send we the world folder. Playing in single player doesnt seem to cause the problem. Bandwidth issue?
  13. So Ive been having a problem with my Redpower quarry that I made. Its simialr to Direwolf20's, it uses an Inch Worm system to move the entire structure, but single motors to dig to bedrock. So far, my research has led me to believe that it was the wireless redstone. Then I read that Ender and Alchemy chests could also casue a problem. I am no longer using wireless restone, but I am using an Energy Condesor and an Alchemychest for overflow. Heres the wiered part. I was able to successfully run to digging sessions down to bedrock, with no issues. After those two were done, I repositioned 8 blocks over to start again, and now it crashes. Evrytime I join while its running, but it didnt when it was 8 blocks the other direction. SO it seems to be happening in one area not the other. Ideas? Some threads requested pictures of their quarries, so here mine. Heres the log: [18:16:02] [sEVERE] java.lang.ClassCastException: eloraam.machine.TileFrameMoving cannot be cast to ee.TileEE [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at EEProxy.handleTEPacket(EEProxy.java:161) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at ee.network.TileEntityPacket.execute(TileEntityPacket.java:57) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at ee.network.PacketHandler.onPacketData(PacketHandler.java:38) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at forge.MessageManager.dispatchIncomingMessage(MessageManager.java:432) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at forge.ForgeHooksClient.onCustomPayload(ForgeHooksClient.java:620) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at adl.a(NetClientHandler.java:1170) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at ee.a(SourceFile:46) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at lg.b(NetworkManager.java:343) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at adl.b(NetClientHandler.java:71) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at je.c(SourceFile:50) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.k(Minecraft.java:1877) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.x(Minecraft.java:825) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(Minecraft.java:753) [18:16:02] [sEVERE] at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
  14. Ok, but how do you save to a floppy. I would like to know. Anyone?
  15. Unfortunately no. We ended up moving the server to my buddies house since the area In question was his. Since he would be connected via the LAN he wouldn't have any issues. Then I just don't go over there. When we did move the server I tried going into the area and I then had the problem. We weren't sure if it was the levers or red stone engines. Good luck!
  16. SO just the other day, a server I run at home started having an issue with a what seems to be a certain area of a map. I know it sounds like a chunk error, but it only happen when you connecto over the internet. Connecting over the lan is fine. We are running Tekkit 3.1.2, worldguard, and worldedit. The problem starts with very laggy levers, now there is a bunch of stuff in this area. Mainly Tanks with water and lava. Also there are redstone engines. But the levers take a bit to change. Eventually you get kicked with the end of stream error. But when you reconnect, there are only a few chunks that load. Everything else is missing. I thought it was my friends computer as it was only happening to him. He completely reinstalled. Windows and tekkit, and the problem still happens. Finally we thought maybe it was a server thing. So i sent him the tekkit folder and world to run from his server, and now the problem happens to me. We didnt reinstall the server from scratch just a ftp transfer of the entire folder. Any ideas? Its only two people that play on this server, myself and my friend Edit: We did a reinstall of the server, but using the world folder and the problem is still there. I should have noted the hardware. The server is a Dell Poweredge 2850 Dual 3.6 Xeons 6Gb or Ram (4 dedicate to tekkit) 6 146gb 10K scsi in RAID 5 Internet is 30mb down 1mb up

  18. The server was laggy a little today so I ran the command again and it removed 3033 items. I'm not sure what's causing this as all the quarry's dump cobble stone gravel dirt and flint into a energy condenser. Everything of value goes into another chest. All the quarries are set up this way. I think it's drops from mobs. I looked but can't find how to disable drops from mobs. I found how to disable orbs just not items.
  19. Actually you helped me alot. Although the command didn't work, another thread I found mentioned that the item drops show up as red dots in mcedit. I deleted various parts of the map that had a cluster of red dots 8-10 in a 1-4 chunk area. After deleting 8-10 of these cluster, I can now join the map. I added world edit to the plugin folder and then tried the command. Remove items now works, but when I ran it, it only removed 27 items. Either way, it now works so I'm happy. I know this isn't the right section, but incase someone else has the same problem, at least th solution will be here. Thanks again Torezu!
  20. its says unknow command when I type that.
  21. Ive been running my own Minecraft Server for a few months now. I rencently moved to Tekkit, along with a buddy of mine. We are the only two that play on the server and have it hosted at my house, my buddy connects via the internet, myself, locally, obviously. It has been running for a week with no issues except when I first started running 3.1.2 I had to add the "-nojline" to the Lanch.bat to get it to run. Other then that, flawless. We arent running any mods, strictly vanilla Tekkit, or what came with the server. This morning when I tried to connect, I was able too, but as the map loaded via the chucnks showing up on the minimap, it only loaded maybe 5-8 chunks, and stalled. I tried exiting out, but everything was locked up. I CTRL-ALT-DELETED to close Java. Now I cannot connect to the server, and my buddy cannot either. Ive tried a new server install, with the same world, and the same thing happens. But if I generate a new world its fine. Im guessing my world is corrupt somehow. I put the world into MCedit and everything seemed to load. I removed as much of the world as I could to get it to regenerate, but that didnt work either. Any ideas on how to fix it?
