seems like an aweful lot of work to do to get onto the server

i didn't think i would need modloader for tekkit, i assumed it already had it, but i'll try it out, thanks for the advice

hi, it said i need forestry to play and i downloaded forestry but then minecraft crashes after the mojang intro, any suggestions?

i did a little bit of research and apparently he issue is with buildcraft. apparently forestry was designed to be compatible with buildcraft 3.1.5, not the latest version

you have the most perfect timing! i found a forestry mod (version 1.4.8.6 no less!) but it's incompatible with MC. if i have the forestry mod it wants me to 'update' in which it basically removes forestry, if i decline the 'update' the forestry will be the ONLY mod and finally when i manage to get forestry on without removing the others, i come up with the white screen of death
