  1. I was this close to reporting your comment as spam. But I'll be nice and overlook it because I saw that it was at least pertaining to the topic.
  2. I noticed (And was a bit thrown off by the fact) that Marble Bricks and Basalt Bricks look a bit too different compared to regular Stone Bricks, and if you do change marble, make it more, ah, marble-ish. (Streaks of black with the white, but please, not zebra.) Otherwise I don't think I have anything else to comment about.
  3. ...As you get more and more fluent in their language, you will notice that they will in addition to displaying their name, their current task and random snippets of text in their language, there will be a additional bar translating said snippets. Don't worry, just trade a lot and you will earn their trust.

  4. The fact that the people speak different languages is intended, by trading and completing quests you gain trust, which in turn gives you some certain benefits; More purchasable able items in the shops, mousing options, and fluency of their language. There are more but I'm not going to ruin any surprises. Continued...

  5. Actually this happens with Minecraft in a whole.
  6. Tried out the Vanilla JohnSmith. I didn't know that the textures were animated!
  7. I'm just going to let it go for now. It dosen't matter as it was only 1 of the 2 computers I may be able to run Tekkit with.
  8. Oh god. Or maybe someone could make a file that's an actual .jar we can just use?
  9. Well it happens that apparent it just dosen't exist. I'm not too worried. I just want to play Tekkit... ...Reeeaally bad.
  10. No I mean that the computer itself might be bugged.
  11. I cannot even use Tekkit, let alone the Launcher!

  12. Opps, sorry I didn't understand what AFAIK ment at that moment.
  13. But seriously is there a way to workaround using the launcher and just using the .jar?
  14. It isn't there. And here's some more information (Bullettime comencing) : System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Version 2002. SrvPk 3 Computer: Intel Core2 Duo CPU, 3.00 GHz, 3.50 GB of RAM I will post more specs if possible.
  15. Well is there any way I can just use a Tekkit .jar directly? I use the magic launcher anyways so it would be no problem switching from vanilla and back.
  16. Could it have something to do with the fact I haven't even installed the basic vanilla version? And yeah, I don't even have the folder, plus it doesn't hide the Application Data (%appdata%) folder for me.
  17. It never even got the chance to make that folder! Wait... ...Apparently I don't even have a Roaming folder! Is that possibly the problem? EDIT: And I've redownloaded many times.
  18. I'm trying that now. If it dosen't work I may see if I can find some sort of workaround. EDIT: So apparently Technic isn't the only thing that won't work right... ...Is it possible to run Tekkit without using the launcher?
  19. Erm...? I'm sorry but what exactly are those?
  20. Launcher Version: None! I can't even get it to work! Operating System: Windows XP Java Version: Latest Antivirus Program: Avast! Description of Problem: Whenever I open a fresh version of the Technic Launcher, it comes up with a system error. Error Messages: The application failed to initalize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application. Error Log:
