with the new mod pack out, i am interested to try it out. however, after coming from tekkit, which i have played for some time now, i don't know anything. I have been unable to find a wiki for the recipes, and was wondering if nei was going to become available to search recipes from in game.

uhh actually, making a server for free is really easy, it just takes a little know-how. you can do it on your own computer

just like the other guy, delete nether ores in the mods file

delete netherores in the mods folder, thats your problem

you use the mffs card. place it in the bottom slot of the core, take it out, then in the same slot in the projector

it might be the other port you are using, i tried the same thing, and couldnt get others to join it- try using the default port

ive heard the way to fix that is to update to java 7, but i have just gone without it. and they took out crafting table 3 im pretty sure

no, the ram isnt the problem. what is your internal ip vs external. you may have either forwarded to the wrong one, or given him the wrong ip

the only way to get the ores to spawn is to go way off into the distance to find new, unloaded chunks, so they should spawn there unless you did something wrong- need more info on how you converted. but i would recommend starting a new world

I also get the overflow error, i run the same type of server, except on a mac, 3-4 people, my freinds get kicked all the time with the overflow error, so any help would really be appreciated, but it is for sure not a bandwidth issue
