  1. We too are experiencing this same issue. Every time you launch, you have to re-download the modpack. We run 2 custom modpack servers, and as a result, both are now sitting there empty. Hopefully this issue will be addressed shortly.
  2. It is very do-able. We have 2 servers, 1 very high tech, with a bit of adventure stuff from Hexxit, and 1 is very Hexxit-like with just a bit of technology. I would pick one emphasis though, trying to incorporate all the mods from both packs would be a bit much I think. Our tech mod pack takes just over 2gb ram to run, and the Hexxit-like takes about 1.5gb ram to run.
  3. What other mods are you using? We have run into an issue with the latest few releases of GalactiCraft.. if we put it in, NEI won't work at all. As soon as we remove it, NEI works just fine. So you might try going thru your mods systematically and seeing if there is a mod that is causing it to not function.
  4. We have updated the mods, and refined the pack a bit more. We have removed project zulu and soul shards. The soul shards make it way to easy to create a grinder that would give tons of xp and top tier loot from infernal mobs, especially if done using slimes. We have also refined the loot tables for the dungeons and infernal mobs, so you no longer have chest loads of top tier armor sitting around. This mod pack is the most fun we've had in Minecraft in a long long time!
  5. I *think* I understand your question. In your main directory you will have 2 jar files, the minecraft_server and MCPC+. The MCPC+ has already got forge in it. You just need to tell your launcher, what ever you use, batch file, or bukkitGUI or what ever, to launch MCPC+. I always rename my MCPC+ file to something else, just for ease of seeing what I'm launching. Your clients just need to have the regular forge. You will want to make sure that the forge version the clients are using is compatible with the forge version that MCPC+ was built on. It should say in the file name what version of forge MCPC+ is using. P.S. In the future, it is advisable to use Punctuation in your post! :)
  6. I have 2 custom mod packs, one high tech, and one low tech/high adventure. I was working on updating our High Tech mod pack and ran into this interesting problem. We have both GalactiCraft and Tinkers Construct mods in this pack. GalactiCraft adds it's own inventory GUI so that you can equip O2 gear for space travel. TConstruct, in it's latest update adds tabs to the inventory GUI, so you can switch screens to add their additional items, like heart canisters. There was no conflict before TConstruct added the new GUI interface, but now when I launch, the GUI shows the modified GUI for GalactiCraft, but not for TConstruct. I had thought about renaming so the mods would load in a different order, but since we are still on MC 1.5.2 until all of the mods update, GalactiCraft is a core mod. Apparently in 1.6.2 and later GalactiCraft will have a core mod component, but GalactiCraft will be a Mod in the mods folder. At that point, I might be able to see a fix for this... maybe. I started looking into this because I was looking at the possibility of adding Aether II, and it also has the same issue. It generates it's own custom inventory GUI. Anyone have any ideas as to how to deal with these conflicting custom inventory GUI's?
  7. Base 13 Reloaded is a High Adventure/Low Tech custom mod pack server. At the core the mod pack has most mods included in Hexxit, in addition we have MoCreatures, Forestry, Hidden Rooms, Thermal Expansion, Mekanism, BuildCraft, Better Food, Chisel and Rei's MiniMap. Our play style is very laid back. We don't have Factions, and don't encourage our players to fight with each other. We try to provide enough challenge and things to do so that PvP is not necessary. Our server rules are simple, don't grief, don't steal and respect each other and the admins. PvP is on, but used only so that we can give each other a friendly smack now and then, and to make battling in close quarters challenging. If you are looking for a Factions, PvP/stealing type server, this is NOT the server for you! The server is up 24/7, and runs on dedicated hardware. Our plugins are simple, PermissionsEX, HomeSpawnPlus, HawkEye, WorldBorder and WorldGuard/WorldEdit. We are a grey list server, you are free to log in, look around and chat with us. If you wish to join us and play, you will need to fill out a quick application on our website. Website: www.base-13.enjin.com Modpack: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/base-13-reloaded Server IP: base-13.org:25575 Mod List: Environmental: ExtraBiomesXL, Twilight Forest, Natura, Ruins, Wild Caves, Artifice, Battle Towers, Better Dungeons, Project Zulu, MoCreatures, Infernal Mobs, Meteors Mod Gear: Soul Shards, NMcCoy Legend Gear, Hexxit Gear, Harken Scythe, Asguard Shield, More Bows, Backpacks, Reliquary Visual Helpers: Rei's MiniMap, Armor Bar, Damage Indicators, Buff Bar, Inv. 8. This is true of all of the meteoric armor/weapons. It is a huge exploit. I agree, the items either need to come pre-enchanted or have the enchants be avail to put on, but not automatically on the items.
  9. Thank you so much for this fix! My players had created infinite loops of macerators/condensers to exploit the blaze rods. Now to find a way to make all their Red Matter they have accumulated worthless in terms of EMC.
  10. Thanks for the replies. I solved it. I had downloaded 3.1.2, but it came with TubeStuff 49.1.1, I re-downloaded 3.1.2, and it now had the correct version of TubeStuff. I just dropped the newer version of TubeStuff in and worked like a charm.
  11. Title: 3.1.2 Server saying it requires mod_TubeStuff 49.1.1 Version: 3.1.2 OS: Windows Home Premium Java Version: 7 64 Description of Problem: I am using the latest tekkit server, 3.1.2, and the most up to date launcer, with TubeStuff 49.1.2 (checked the .techniclauncher/tekkit/mods folder to be sure). The server keeps refusing to allow me to log in saying "the server requires you to have the following mods: mod_TubeStuff 49.1.1 Error Messages: Error Log: console says Twsterlj was disconnected because they are missing the following mod: mod_TubeStuff 49.1.1
