Anyone have a lead on an motd plugin for forge ? cant seem to find one to turn on reis show player options on the minimap.

okay i had found a video walkthrough for the launchers custom zip but i've somehow managed to lose the link...
only question i have is, i understand the structure, but can i include the minecraft.jar in the zip as well and it'll include it in the custom update through the launcher ?
basically, installed mo creatures mod, and it has a GUI that needs to be dumped into the jar file itself, its up and running on the server w/o issue, but i need to get the jar update to my friends who play with me and trying to find the best route to do that.

with forge, do i need to install it on the client side and have all the players do the same ? or is it like bukkit and i just put it in the mods folder ?

For the life of me I cant find any info on where to go to get forge mods, like bukkit has their website with plugin lists etc.
but I cant find anything similar for forge...
any suggestions ?
right now im just trying to find an motd so i can turn on the show players on reis.

erm we're not trying to set up a portal hub, basically we're 5 people far apart, each wanting our own portal in and out of the neter.
but for some reason when i make a portal, and go in, and go out the EXACT same portal, it puts me in a NEW portal somewhere else in the overworld.

Heyah guys, I'm playing a private server with a group of 5 friends, and we're running into an issue with the nether portals...
for whatever reason if i make a portal in my area, (2 - 3 biomes away), and enter it, it pops up a portal in another location than where it should show up in the nether, and the exit point is in another location.
so i can make a portal at point A
and it exits at point B in the nether
but instead of taking me back to point A in the overworld, it makes another portal at point H in some random location.
.... what gives ?

Can buildcraft machinery be powered by a ins copper cable from a batbox, or does there need to be a batbox right next to it ?

coming from a batbox on the side, up to the macerator, mac isnt receiving power, and batbox is fully charged.

hm so if i wanted to set up a row of say, 10 tanks to store lava, or oil, i'd need to connect 1 wooden pipe, and 1 redstone engine to every single tank ? any way to chain them together ? like a wooden pipe connected to each 10 tanks, those wooden pipes connected together at the end with an engine connected to the final one ?

hate to hijack this thread but im having a similar issue, however, im getting the notification that they're turned on, players and cavemapping, its just not actually showing up on the minimap... any ideas ?

Heyah folks, I'm wanting to use a monster apocalypse mod, but it requires a later ver of craftbukkit than whats currently installed on the tekkit server, would there be any impact from upgrading the normal tekkit install to the latest ver of craftbukkit or would that likely break everything ?

Heya folks, I read up in Reis and I found the string you'd put in the motd, which is motd=&0&0&1&2
but its still not showing players on the minimap... not sure what i'm doing wrong..
any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible to disable the EE mod without breaking anything ? Just want to remove the ability for people to make transmutation tables and Energy collectors.
Not sure if its doable by just removing the EE mod or if I need to get noitem and ban those

er... according to tekkit wiki the tome gives me access to every item with an emc value.
fine.
how do i SEE those items since it only has a limited amount of space on the right side of the GUI
only wayi 've found to shift the items around is to put something in the middle and it pops up different items.
is there some of kind of method to scroll through the other items etc ?

Heyah Folks, finally got my portable transmutation tablet, had a quick question, is there any way to sort through the list ? I just also recently got the alch tome and used it, so i have access to everything but.. well... how the heck do i sort through it all ?
also i just put down a dragon egg... oh goodie :D

Well I just got my first dark matter item! loving it, in the nether mining like crazy, however one slight... well... massive problem...
for whatever reason, the dark orbs im supposed to be picking up, are not getting picked up, sometimes it lets me pick up some, but usually nothing with ore or anything worth while in it.
i used it on diamonds, went to pick up the orb, etc, and it wouldnt move.

Heyah guys! me and a friend set up a lava storage area to store lava from multiple locations we pump in for use with the geo generators, but its not pulling lava out.
we have 1 teleport pipe feeding into the pipes from other sources, and 1 teleport pipe at the end of the chain connected to a pipe and the generator on the floor above
but for some reason it wont pull lava out of the tanks.
here are 3 screenshots from different angles.
hope someone can let me know what im doing wrong.

aye i wish i could kukka but still getting up and going
still having problems with transport pipes, we put world anchors in both spots to ensure it stays loaded, they connected for a short time then stopped, we checked both locations, the volcano still has lava and the pump is still down in it.
the pump teleport pipe is set to send, the one connected to the tanks and water proof pipes is set to receive, both on freq 10, yet both still show 0 as connected
not sure what the problem is

Quick question about the transmutation table, i keep hearing it can do either matter or fuel, but I cant figure out how to change the mode of it, right now it says Transmutation No Lock at the top, and its never said anything else, I can copy diamonds, etc etc, but wont do anything with coal, or other fuels.
any suggestions ?

ookay... weird.. when i added another item of emc 1 to it, it poped up all my emc stuff.
