Try clearing you cache in the launchers Options menu, I did that and Voltz worked after that

You might need to update you launcher, the current version is 1.0.3.4.

I had a problem like that, All I did was right click and run as administrator and it worked. I hope it works for you as well!

Hello, I am looking for someone who is knowledgeable in plugins to help me run my server. You will hold a special title in my server of either "Developer" Or any special title of your choice. It is a brand new server and I am running it on Hamachi until I get all the bugs worked out, and then I'll be running it on a dedicated IP. I updated Java to the newest version, and I still get the same error. It also seems that when the update fails, it removes all mods, because if I get the update failed,and then still continue to play, it reverts it back to vanilla MC...

Launcher Version: Launcher Version- 1.0.3.2 Operating System: Windows 7 Java Version: 6 Antivirus Program: Description of Problem: When I choose to update to 3.1.3 I click log in, and it says "There is a new version of Tekkit would you like to download?" I click Yes and it says Backing up Previous build and then I get a popup that says "Update failed" almost instantly, but if I choose the next version before this it works just fine. I tried the solution where you place the minecraft_1.2.5.jar into the cache folder but it still didn't work. Error Messages: Error Log:

Looking for about 5-7 players for a small Tekkit Server, I have not banned any items, nor to I plan on banning any(Except the extremely cheap/game breaking items.) List will be up in spawn real soon.
