I'll give mcpc+ a try. I've also run into a new problem, I just upgraded from win7 to win 8, reinstalled himachi and started up the server again. I can connect fine to the server using a local host but no one else who could connect before can anymore. Please note, I can't use port forwarding as my router is locked out by my ISP>

Any chance you have a link, googled it and can't find anything, closest I can find is Dynmap - WorldGuard. Founds this on the worldborder post: "/wb dynmap <on/off> - turn DynMap border display on or off." I tried that command but got "Error:null"
-
Most of the mods work fine, but I still can't get World Border working, it seems to run and I can issue commands, but it doesn't actually add a border, not will it render using the /WB fill command. Do I need to get a specific version for it to work like with dynmap?

Thanks for the help guys, getting version 1.4.7 did the trick.

I downloaded Bukkitforge and put it in the coremods folder but now the server won't start, if I remove it, it starts fine. Is there something else I need to do?

Hi mate, last time I used a tekkit server the plugins just worked fine, is this something that has changed recently? Thanks for the info though, Ill Google bukkitforge Nd find out what it is.

I have a Tekkit lite server running (version 1.4.7) and I can't get any plugins loading. I have worldborder, dynmap and essentials .jar's in the plugins folder but the server starts as if they weren't even there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The spec's of your server should normally handle 5-10 players easy, however certain things, particularly large factories can using huge amounts of RAM and processor cycles. Restricting certain items, or size of factories can greatly reduce the strain on the server, if you would prefer to keep using your existing server. You could also add more RAM to your current server, it's pretty cheap to buy these days.

I recently set up a new tekkit server using MyMcAdmin, and installed the residence mod. Everything works with residence except the selection tool. I've tried changing it to other items but none seem to work. Other mods on the server: World Border World Edit Disablecraft Essentials

Update: Deleting my whole enderstorage folder seems to increase the length of time before another crash, but it still happens nearly daily. Aslo, the server doesn't really creash, it hangs, no one can log onto the server for example, but I can still access dynmap and take a look at the realtime world map.

World Anchors and Teleport Tethers
Riley - NZL replied to BuccaneerRex's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
On large maps won't that take an incredibly long time to walk around replacing within 50 blocks? -

Expected bandwidth and resources per slot?
Riley - NZL replied to Riley - NZL's topic in Server Op Swap Shop
How many people are there generally on your Dads server? Mine is sitting around ~300-500 Kb/s uploading with 8-12 people on at once. -
This will vary a lot I'm sure but does anyone have some roundabout figures on Bandwidth/CPU/RAM usage per slot? Been running my server for 3 weeks an I'm already hitting 10GB's of bandwidth a day. Mostly asking this question as I'm running my server off my home computer (yeah yeah I know), and am looking at building a dedicated computer to put the server on.

I've copied in the mod into my server file as instructed, but using any of the links (http://127.0.0.1:8123/) to bring up the website in my browser just gives me a "could not connect" error. Also the site for DynMap refers to this location for the config file "minecraft_server/plugins/dynmap/" however I can't see anything there related to a config file.
