  1. Alright, since it doesn't seem like anyone else has made a post of this, and since some people have this problem, here goes. A lot of you (including myself) sometimes have the problem where there is no sound in the technic launcher. Nada. Zippo. But fear not, for I have found a solution! I'm going to guide you through the steps to enable your precious sound in technic. 1. go to your .minecraft folder. i) for windows xp, go to your start menu, then start the run program. Type "%appdata%" without the quotes, and press enter. You should see the .minecraft folder at the top of your window. ii) for windows 7, go to your start menu, and type "%appdata%" without the quotes into the search bar. You should see the .minecraft folder at the top of your window. 2. go to your resources folder in .minecraft. 3. copy the "music", "newmusic", and "newsound" folders. 4. now press the back button twice, and then click on the .techniclauncher folder. 5. go to your technicssp folder within .techniclauncher. 6. open the resources folder. 7. now, see how there's only the mod folder in there? That's why sound isn't working. Technic derped up and didn't download all of the sound files. Paste the files you just copied into here. 8. Now enjoy your technic in full sound! If, for some reason, your sound still didn't work, try pressing f3 to open the gui with the coords and pi graph. Then, press f3 and the "S" key at the same time. I have had to do this in the past, and it turns the sound on like a charm! I hope this topic helps those who were as confuslled as me when this happened.
  2. I had this same problem. It seems that IC2's Advanced Machines currently conflicts with something else. All you can do right now is go to the server folder, then config, and open modloader.txt. From there you can turn off IC2AdvancedMachines. Hope this helped! Greenman *Stare*
