Hey everyone! I have a server that I have configured for Tekkit (obviously lol). Up until recently, it was just two people on the server because I ultimately got it because we were both tired of the whiney kids on the server that we were admins on. Now, though, we are going to open it up to a few more people. It will stick with friends, but then a few people we will have on that are online friends (but a little sketchy). I am looking for someone that has a little bit of time later today or even Friday (US EST Time zone) that would be willing to help out with some of the configuration files. It won't be anything intensive, just a permissions plugin and just a few other of the well known plugins. I know a lot of the basic stuff already. It gets confusing and I definitely do not want to screw anything up. Send me a message if you are interested and have the time to help. Thanks!

Thank you for this question.. I was looking for while before I read this and thought to just go into option and choose to use the recommended build instead of developmental.

I guess I could have posted this in the Tekkit SMP folder, but, it seemed inappropriate with all of the technical help. Anyways, I'm looking for a decently priced Tekkit hosting provider. I currently have Multiplay. Their service is decent, I just would like to explore other options if they are out there. I am not very tech savvy, so I would prefer one with easy plugin installation. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hey guy! This is my first time posting, and I'm relatively new, so excuse me if this isn't the correct place to post. Anyways, my issue is on my Tekkit server. I recently acquired it from a friend and honestly know very little about it. I've been stumbling along enough to get it at least running well. Just recently, I've stopped taking damage at all while on the server. My armor isn't even being damaged when being stumbled. A friend and I discovered one night that we could just walk through lava too, and the only thing that would happen is we would get a headache from the noise. Now, that is cool for a while, but, if I didn't want damage at all, I would just use creative all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions, or know where it is in the config files that turns this on and off? Thanks guys!
