  1. Hmm well this seems not to have worked, we first tried removing all but the weapons/tools from EE but we still crashed so we pulled ALL of EE and yet we still seem to be crashing so I'm no longer sure what the heck is happening. I think our server itself may be having some sort of issue.
  2. Thankyou sooo much! It is wonderful to know what the cause for this problem is without having to trial and error it for hours (Our plans for tomorrow afternoon)! Thanks a ton for everyone's input on this problem!
  3. Any particular part of EE that has been reported to cause such issues? Also I can easily see how EE could cause issues considering how many of its items act over large areas, though it seems that it would likely cause spikes instead of drops, but then again I have no idea. To moderators and general users: We have stopped having Ushinawa make our posts, of any sort. That was his second attempt and he has screwed up both times now. So me and Dark will be taking over from here. Sorry about his in-ability to read rules, it's a common thing for him.
  4. Sadly it would seem they have merely altered the "build" flag and renamed it to "construct". Also this problem would then only pertain to worldguard, which it does not. So sadly we are back to searching. Thank you for your input.
  5. I am sorry but this does not constitute a proper solution to the problem at hand. What you propose is to deny new users the right to build and instead make registration or "promotion", of sorts, a requirement. Our issue lies in the fact that we want to properly protect specific areas of the map, since your solution will prevent unregistered players from building anywhere on the map, and not prevent ALL users from building in certain areas it is not a feasible solution. Unless of course what your attempting to say is that through some miraculous insanity the presence of a group incapable of building results in no more issues with unreported block placements, but I find this excessively improbable. Thankyou for your contribution to the discussion though, if everyone with a possible solution were to bring it forth we may be able to identify a temporary solution, or a "workaround" of sorts. (Also sorry if it seemed that I was burning you but I've had a bad day in a building filled with useless people so I am a little volatile in my reactions)
  6. Ok found it, I'm using version 5.3 it seems to work for flagging the global region, but like all similar plugins, it cannot prevent players placing blocks within regions. Best of luck to you.
  7. I'm not entirely certain of the version you're using and of what craftbukkit release it is built upon, but you'll have to try several releases before you can get it working. I'm using a version built for 1.0 so you just have to try a few until one works. Though it does have to be one that works for 1.1-R4 (version of CB that tekkit uses). Good luck and I'll see if I can find the version I'm using.
  8. Well then, it seems the 1.6.6b release works. It is slightly buggy and the chat format requires some awkward tweaks but it does work. I hope this helps someone, also just saying I find it doubtful factions can stop players from placing blocks, considering nothing else seems to right now >:(
  9. Hey everyone, trying to get factions on the FoS tekkit server, since we've had quite a few requests, but we cant seem to find a build that will work correctly. I understand the sever is built off of craftbukkit 1.1-R4 (build 1938) but the plugin version that should work for that wont, neither will any version we can find. Anyone have any ideas? EDIT: I don't know if this should be under bugs, or if it should be here, feel free to correct me if I am incorrect. Thanks
  10. Damn iZone doesn't work for me, same problem as with the other plugins, is there anything you did to your server files, disabled a mod? Added some particular plugin, changed a config file? Because I understand these plugins work for some but not for others. And this is highly aggravating.
  11. AWESOME!!! Thanks, I'll try this out and let you know if I have any luck with it.
  12. Yeah, I hate not being able to stop and easily identify griefers, makes the work of admins and mods so much harder. Not to mention there are people who have found solutions but dont want to share them >:(
  13. Ok well I understand retarded team member Ushi forgot to read the rules before he posted. So while he's sitting off to the side having the rest of the team yell at him for being a dumba**, I'll make up a proper bug post.... Here we go: Launcher/pack Version: 2.1.1 Operating System: Ubuntu server 11.04 x86_64 Version of Java: 1.7.0 Description of Problem: Both hawkeye and logblock are unable to record block placement, we've done some of our own testing but got nowhere. The truly odd thing is that EVERYTHING else is recorded just fine but not block-placement. Error Messages: N/A (........we don't get one, just a perfectly fine looking console, it's weird.......) Link to pastebin of log: N/A Thanks for any help you can provide, and sorry if it just turns out to be us being idiots (Like Ushi!!!! XD )
