I jsut thought of another thing which is likely to fix it, temprarly, which is to coppy all the hexit files, like that you would as if you where adding a mod, to vinilla minecraft ,being that vinilla minecraft is compatible with your key-borad, it may have some data in there that allows your key-borads to function properly with minecraft, although an unlikely fix it is alot more likely to fix this problem then what i had said abouve.

Try seeing if your key-board needs to be updated at all, this is extreamly unlikely that it will fix it but im running out of options to troubleshoot the proplem, by going to start>controll panel>hardware and sound>printers and devices then right click and go to properties then go to hardware then properties again then go to drivers and see if the option to updae driver is there and try that so it will automatically search for updates via the internet if there is none dont worry about it if there is try and see if itll work with hexxit. Another thing, that is also highly unlikely, would be your protections i.e. anti-virus e.c.t. may be blocking input to the game, no idea why this would happen but stranger things have happened to me, all you need to do is see if there is a log of some kind and see if it is blocking hexxit or has anything to do with hexxit or java script and maybe post it if you think it may be the problem. (note: don't tern off any of your protections as that has a probability of aproximitly 3% chance to fix it) If all fails post as much info about the key-board that won't work with hexxit as you can here and maybe a mod or someone who understands code (being i don't know squat about coding) could help you. sorry i can't be much more of assistance.

Ok then have you tried coppying your hexxit data to a file on your desctop then deleating everything of your hexit in the .technic folder and re-downloading hexit then seeing it works then? if it does just place your save from the hexxit folder you coppyed to your desktop into the save that is in the new re-downloaded hexxit folder.

have you checked inside the folder to see if it even has stuf in it? otherwise have you made a backup of the world at all? or has it automatically made one for you ,being when it crashes usually it makes a backup from my experience? if it has nothing and there are no backups i beleive you'll have to start over and if there is and is backups then just use those otherwise you may have to start over. Btw the place you are at may look exactly the same to where your home was so maybe its still there but just in a different place i.e. check your map, zoom all out, and see if there is anything, this is highly unlikely though that it may be moved/ look like the same place.

have you gone to the settings in game and seen if the game freaked out and made all your keybindings to nothing exept shift? being games do corrupt sometimes and anything could have failed to repair them so it might have deleated the key-bindings or the file hasent been removed yet or is just plain corrupt...

If it happens again try to delete technic launcher completely or completely delete the mod pack that isn't working and reinstall it/them.

I have norton and downloading it was perfectly fine, also if you know could you be suspific of which type of norton it is, i use 360 version...being able to know which norton it is that is causing the problem would help the staff fix it being there is like 100 different products of norton. As for your technic try putting it as a different type, the type you are trying to update to may be bugged that or its just the launcher being bugged or even...once again...your protection, if that doesn't work then try re-installing the bally launcher or find an error log which should be in the launcher folder...maybe anyway the fact that well technic is doing that happens a lot with voltz or tekkit light...never have i seen it happen to that...that or i just haven't read about it yet being i haven't been surfing the forums lately, anyway hope you or someone finds a way to fix that! (glitches are everywhere D: )

Well that's what i meant about a clean minecraft .jar and maybe your technic was corrupt or something...but at least its working now!

wont update as in when you go to options then select an option to degrade to a certain one or upgrade? If that's the case then you gonna have to surf the forums or report this prob.

Thing is it could be multiple things stopping the launcher from downloading, it may be your antivirus blocking it although i think you should keep that on and use it as a last resort being i don't want your computer to die, anyway have you tried downloading it in another browser, it may be the browser stopping you being that it may be thinking its malicious(thinks it may be a virus), if that doesn't work then try resting your network(your internet connection) also test the speed of your internet, it may be the fact that it is timing out so it will keep canceling the download(if your speed says 0.5 megs or under on download you will need a better internet...like now) also if any of this (except antivirus) doesn't help try to get a mod(person) to help you by posting a new report and see if there is any error log appearing anywhere on your computer lastly search the rest of the forums and see if anyone ells is having the same problem. hope i helped!

could be your minecraft and not the launcher, you need a CLEAN minecraft, not even the simplest mod can be add to it otherwise it will stop working, ether try to re-install minecraft or the launcher.

on the launcher go to options then memory allocation and put it as much as it can go (or half of your ram) then it'll work because there are so many things in your world it would use up how ever much memory allocation is allowed instant, if your using m,minecraft then you will have to open it through .cmd and make it run at more memory, although this didn't work for me because it couldn't find minecraft, search you tube 'how to allocate more memory to minecraft' and try that, otherwise you will have to use the backup to go back to where not as many items and/or blocks there are.

That's alright,the admins are having trouble solving the coding of voltz and tekkit light so they don't have much admins left to help other problems,and im talking about it not working on any windows computer/laptop also the solution of using minecraft I found to be able to play voltz/tekkit light being that currently it IS THE ONLY WAY TO PLAY THOSE, which sucks .

Did you start up a world or did minecraft crash instant? because from what I can see it seems the FML crashed due to one thing crashing first, I cant tell if you actually got minecraft/tekkit to start up because above the error report it said it booted up fine, there shouldn't be a error due to the start up so i expect it to be something in/out game mainly optifine is my suspicion, sorry i can't rely help although i can say is try to open it through minecraft via this solution found that allows the mods to be played on minecraft instead the launcher,so any of the mod packs will work if you follow the instructions e.g. where it sais '\tekkitlight' you would in your case go to '\tekkitclassic'. solution by: Mikael2933 steps: 1. goto C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher\tekkitlite and copy all the files. 2. goto C:\Users\(User)\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft and paste in all the files. 3. goto bin folder and right click on minecraft.jar and modpack.jar and open it with Winrar etc. 4. copy all files from modpack.jar to minecraft.jar. 5. Delete META-INF 6. start minecraft and it should work.
