  1. @perpetualgamer: I just wanted some help forgive me for sounding a little bit selfish + If you dont understand meaning of those words it may sound like I put them together. The problem is just when I connect to my server. Im playing on Terra Novo right now with the same client. @Sp0nge: I guess you're right thats its the provider + I could've messed something up when installing java on debian. Still this server has come highly recommended by many people who own a server, so its very strange. The client dirscreen crashes then goes to whitescreen and I have to shut it down manually. Thanks for your patience sponge :D
  2. I did spent money on this and I typed it just so you would take it more seriously, than with "idiot doesn't know basic stuff". But ye I made a mistake with Tekkit and I can live with the money I spent on the server. Its true that more people are having the same problem, I saw 4 posts. So it would be bad idea solving this issue. @DragnHntr: Do you know the difference between (we'll do everything for you) hosting and normal VPS? I payed for 3 gigs of RAM 30gb memory and 1 3gig core 12 pounds and with for example multiplay I would pay 26 pounds. And to be honest installing java using linux console setting up SSH and FTP and executing Tekkit.jar is quite easy. Though I am clear example of multiplay being more reliable.
  3. The log remained the same. Well yes I deleted everything and it surely isnt problem of bugged tanks since I installed the server couple weeks ago. Ps: I paid my server for a month and they'll shit it down next week. I wont be paying more for Tekkit server that won't work, so I won't be needing help anymore. But there are more people with same problems as I do so you could help them. Still thanks a lot for your help I guess no staff member wants to help.
  4. I deleted my borderkeeper.dat, then the world, then the whole server and it didnt make a difference. But I noticed when I delete it and log in for the first time a have maybe 2 seconds before it crashes, instead of 0.5 s normally. So I logged in saw welcoming message looked around a bit and after 2 s crash.
  5. I cleaned the server completely with Tekkit.jar redownloaded it and put it back in with other files. Same with .techniclauncher in appdata. I havent upgraded it I downloaded the newest version and run it. Others see me logged. I log in see in text that I logged in sometimes hear myself fall in water and then it crashes. I believe its clientside. But it only happens to my server. I amcurently playing on other one with no problems.
  6. It happens only on my server. I play normally on other Tekkit servers. I deleted the whole server several times and it always crashes (clean maps). It seems more people are having the same problem. I counted 5 people who are saying the same thing. http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,4389.0.html http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,5281.0.html and more ...
  7. Ye the same problem. But at me I tried everything. Reloading deleting server files deleting .technicpack No use. And it only happens to my server not any else
  8. http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,4777.0.html Ye I made a topic about it. Have the same problem. Nobody seems to care though. I found out it happens only to my server when I join it. Doesnt happen to other servers.
  9. IT seems it all runs around this [11:22:51] [sEVERE] java.lang.NullPointerException [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at vq.d(World.java:2533) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at vq.c(World.java:2686) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at vq.s(World.java:2499) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at vq.b(World.java:486) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at iq.c(SourceFile:206) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at abm.a(NetClientHandler.java:476) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at no.a(SourceFile:41) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at kp.b(NetworkManager.java:227) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at abm.b(NetClientHandler.java:48) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at iq.c(SourceFile:57) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.k(Minecraft.java:1557) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.x(Minecraft.java:698) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at net.minecraft.client.Minecraft.run(Minecraft.java:638) [11:22:51] [sEVERE] at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Anyone know what could this mean? Ps: Yes Im trying to revive this Thread as it is slowly falling to other pages.
  10. I found out about a tool to test if I have x86 or x64 http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp It showed me I was using x86 even though I have my x64 installed so I uninstalled all the javas from my system and installed jre-7u3-windows-x64.exe. Then Then the tool stoped working and asked me to download jre-6u31-windows-x64.exe this so I did and it didnt helped. I seriously want to punch the computer now. EDIT: It seems that That was a general problem. Redownloaded today and it's running fine EDIT2: I tried logging into my server again. No changes on develpoment build on recomended build. Still it just login do water splash sound show GUI and crashes. It seems my laptop with Windows 7 x86 is crashing the same way as my main computer. So I think its not the problem of my GPU. Can someone from the staff help me too please? I kinda spent a lot of money on this project unknowing that its a total disaster.
  11. This is when I do java -version command in cmd. java version "1.7.0_04-ea" java SE Runtime Enviroment (build 1.7.0_04-ea-b06) java HotSpot 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.0-b09, mixed mode) It says 64-bit though its a hotspot, but vanilla minecraft (which I run with 2 gigs of ram) runs okay. EDIT: How do you set your system to use it? Doesnt 64bit W7 do it automatically?
  12. Alright. I dont think that its my card (Geforce GTX 560) becuase everything else (Tekkit SSP,BF3) is running like a charm. But I listened to your advice updated my drivers (1 version behind) and now I cant even start the launcher it pops up says downloading and the closes leaving .techniclauncher folder with technic-launcher.jar and technic-launcher.jar.bak both 19kb. Minecraft is working fine it seems.
  13. Can you please help me solve it? I have already paid for hosting and know it doesn't work there.
  14. Launcher/pack Version: 1.1 Operating System: W7 64bit Version of Java: 1.7 Description of Problem: When I join a Tekkit server, it loads for maybe a half a second and the it dirt crashes. Client log: http://pastebin.com/DdxDEFLA
  15. *facepalm* Thank you so much On the other hand It works, but I got so many errors. Is Tekkit even supported on debian? Here's the pastebin of me trying to run it: http://pastebin.com/vzsBxn5F 2 gigs of ram and proper CPU should be enough :/ EDIT: I fixed it by installing 1.7.0 java. EDIT2: It causes more problems <_<" java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 179 is already occupied by ee.BlockEEDevice@578da21f when adding buildcraft.zeldo.ChunkLoader.BlockChunkLoader@138ece21 at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:175) at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:197) at net.minecraft.server.BlockContainer.<init>(BlockContainer.java:18) at buildcraft.zeldo.ChunkLoader.BlockChunkLoader.<init>(BlockChunkLoader.java:11) at net.minecraft.server.mod_zAdditionalPipes.ModsLoaded(mod_zAdditionalPipes.java:210) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.init(ModLoader.java:706) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.Init(ModLoader.java:1357) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.init(MinecraftServer.java:102) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:411) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:465) 10:30:29 [sEVERE] Unexpected exception java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 179 is already occupied by ee.BlockEEDevice@578da21f when adding buildcraft.zeldo.ChunkLoader.BlockChunkLoader@138ece21 at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:175) at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:197) at net.minecraft.server.BlockContainer.<init>(BlockContainer.java:18) at buildcraft.zeldo.ChunkLoader.BlockChunkLoader.<init>(BlockChunkLoader.java:11) at net.minecraft.server.mod_zAdditionalPipes.ModsLoaded(mod_zAdditionalPipes.java:210) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.init(ModLoader.java:706) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.Init(ModLoader.java:1357) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.init(MinecraftServer.java:102) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:411) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:465) >java.lang.RuntimeException: ModLoader has failed to initialize. at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.ThrowException(ModLoader.java:1292) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.init(ModLoader.java:715) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.Init(ModLoader.java:1357) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.init(MinecraftServer.java:102) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:411) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:465) Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 179 is already occupied by ee.BlockEEDevice@578da21f when adding buildcraft.zeldo.ChunkLoader.BlockChunkLoader@138ece21 at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:175) at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:197) at net.minecraft.server.BlockContainer.<init>(BlockContainer.java:18) at buildcraft.zeldo.ChunkLoader.BlockChunkLoader.<init>(BlockChunkLoader.java:11) at net.minecraft.server.mod_zAdditionalPipes.ModsLoaded(mod_zAdditionalPipes.java:210) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.init(ModLoader.java:706) ... 4 more 10:30:29 [sEVERE] Unexpected exception java.lang.RuntimeException: ModLoader has failed to initialize. at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.ThrowException(ModLoader.java:1292) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.init(ModLoader.java:715) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.Init(ModLoader.java:1357) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.init(MinecraftServer.java:102) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.run(MinecraftServer.java:411) at net.minecraft.server.ThreadServerApplication.run(SourceFile:465) Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 179 is already occupied by ee.BlockEEDevice@578da21f when adding buildcraft.zeldo.ChunkLoader.BlockChunkLoader@138ece21 at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:175) at net.minecraft.server.Block.<init>(Block.java:197) at net.minecraft.server.BlockContainer.<init>(BlockContainer.java:18) at buildcraft.zeldo.ChunkLoader.BlockChunkLoader.<init>(BlockChunkLoader.java:11) at net.minecraft.server.mod_zAdditionalPipes.ModsLoaded(mod_zAdditionalPipes.java:210) at net.minecraft.server.ModLoader.init(ModLoader.java:706) ... 4 more >Exception in thread "Thread-3" java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 0, Size: 0 at java.util.ArrayList.rangeCheck(ArrayList.java:604) at java.util.ArrayList.get(ArrayList.java:382) at net.minecraft.server.MinecraftServer.stop(MinecraftServer.java:397) at org.bukkit.craftbukkit.util.ServerShutdownThread.run(ServerShutdownThread.java:14) EDIT3: I managed to fix it by opening /buildcraft/config/additionalpipes.cfg and editing Chunk loader to value 180. You can close it now.
