How do you make a server for a custom modpack?

I've been told to use Cauldron, but can't find anywhere to download it and I have no idea what to do once i get it.

Google is your friend, Cauldron was issued a dmca take down but if you look around you can find what you need.

What I would do is simply download a tekkit server from the platform, then go into your modpack directory, copy the "mods" folder and replace it with the one in the tekkit server.

That should work.
