Title: Some EE Items Not Working on Server

Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4

OS: Windows 7 64 Bit

Java Version: 7

Description of Problem:

Some of the equivalent exchange items aren't working properly on my server, such as archangel's smite, DM pedestal and void ring. These all work fine in singleplayer. Archangel's Smite somewhat works on server (right click is working, left click isn't, and neither is 'g'). Void ring doesn't do anything it's supposed to and the DM pedestal is equally useless.

Error Messages:

None in the console.

Error Log:


No error reported from modloader.

I also have an issue on our server where the powers of some of the gem armors don't work. Specifically, the special movement powers. In mod_EE.props, there is a setting that seems like it controls it, but it was already set to true and they still are not working.

Specific example: Not able to fly with Hurricane boots.

Some of these items require fuel. For Archangel's Smite, 'g' doesn't do anything, 'r' should activate/deactivate the arrow chaingun, r-click is a single arrow, l-click is a pack of them, but they all consume fuel - i.e., if you don't have a klein star in your inventory, they stop functioning rather quickly. The Void Ring will teleport with 'r', pull in and compress items with 'g' (in the quickbar or a bag/chest), and r-click will remove lava or water - these are all free as far as I know. Pedestals are just broken.

These items are simply not working. Even with fuel. For Archangel's smite, 'r' does nothing just like 'g' does nothing, left click also does not work, although right click does. I haven't tested the void ring but I'm fairly certain I'll get the same results.

Edit: Just tested the evertide amulet. It's also not working properly. Swiftwolf's Rending Gale causes the server to crash when you change modes (null pointer exception).

My plugins are fairly minimalistic, at least I'm not running anything that should be interfering. Other than essentials and my worlds, I'm running bukkitspeak (connects teamspeak and bukkit chat), minecars, templecraft, safeexplosions, MCeat and blocks on glass. The actual server isn't crashing when you change modes (didn't realize that until after my last post), it's just disconnecting the players. It hasn't given me an error in the console at all.

I've also found that destruction catalyst and the transmutation tablet aren't working either.

I know SMP EE does some strange things. For example, the amulets don't let you walk on water/lava, I've had 50% or less chance of getting the projectiles to work, and I'll often have to activate and then deactivate a ring before it will fire projectiles. It seems to be an EE problem, not a Tekkit bug, unfortunately.

On the other hand, Archangel's Smite has always worked perfectly for me as long as I had fuel or a klein star in my inventory...

Ah, well strangely enough, I did manage to get the AS cannon function (G or R key) working, though it seemed to be completely random. The left click function is still broken.

I hope these are all bugs that will be worked out with the new mod API in a few months.

hurricane boots are pretty much broken for me, when I press 'g' to turn them on, the message displays saying that their on but the sprint doesn't work and once they have been turned on, flying is unable to be turned off. But these bugs are only limited to smp. I also take fall damage in the nether with full redmatter armour and a gale/ ring of arcana, which makes doing anything close to flying impossibly dangerous, I've been turning fly off and landing in lava to break my fall but that has its own dangers... if there isn't enough lava to break the accumulating fall damage all my stuff is gone :|

The flight/landing issue with gem armours in the nether is repeatable. One of my friends on my server suffered the same thing multiple times. He was less than happy when he lost just about everything after going ghast hunting.

I've noticed a couple of other little niggles in lower-end EE stuff so far, mainly cosmetic (swiftwolf only going between red and off, regardless of what combination of powers are in use).
