Technic Launcher logo gets stuck

Hello, I am having issues when running Techniclauncher.jar in java, the Technic Launcher logo pops up covering everything that's on my desktop and gets stuck there, what could be the problem?

I am running a 64 bit

Launcher/pack Version: 3.0.4

Operating System: Windows 7 ultimate 64bit

Version of Java: Java 7 64 bit

Description of Problem:

I get the same problem, I open it up but the Technic Launcher thing just freezes above everything! No error log or nothing, cant close it unless I restart my computer...

I have windows 7 32 bit, 3.0.4 technic, norton.

There is no error log, it doesn't get anywhere near the launcher, just posts some logo image that stays over everything. (I have the same problem)

Run the launcher .jar with a batch file that has "pause" (no quotes) as a second line, and see if there's an error message. If you don't know how to create a java batch from scratch, use the server batch file and change the file name.

I had the same problem. Shutting down my firewall (Zone Alarm in my case) fixed it. Going into allow all mode didn't help, had to completely shut it down.

Okay folks, try:

shutting down your firewall (ala Lethys),

redownloading the launcher using firefox, if you aren't already

manually deleting your .techniclauncher folder,

uninstalling and reinstalling Java, making sure that you have Java 7

Disabling your antivirus,

and doing a little dance.

I am not pleased with the Technic Launcher software, but because of my rank of intelligence, I won't be shouting insults at you.

As you can see, I tried three times(and failed three times) to start the Technic Launcher software, after I deleted the whole ".techniclauncher" 10 times.

I stumbled upon this noble Post wich looked quite useful at first, but turned out to be rather not useful.

The only thing I ask you Gentlemen to do in the next update of your Technic Launcher software,

please

remove that the logo of the Technic Launcher software stays on top of everything.

It even refused to stay behind the Taskmanager of Windows.

Furthermore, I ask you to tell me what I have to do in order to get the

Technic Launcher software

to work

The launcher normally works for me but today I had the same problem. I can open the launcher again and it will work fine but I will still have the stupid logo covering my whole screen for no apparent reason. Can someone just explain how to get rid of the thing..?

So I read:"All mirrors failed, reverting to default"

isn't that a little bit useless? I mean, if it doesn't work the first time, why try again? It maybe gets to it sometime,

but if it doesn't work, why not a simple

ERROR message?

because that Technic logo is blocking my screen.(As said in the title of this thread)

If i'm right, the Technic launcher (and forum of the very same) are in America

but as I intended,

I live in China(at the moment).

So maybe the TL can't reach the server.

What now?

P.S.:

I tried the .jar. But that didn't change anything.

Hello, I am having issues when running Techniclauncher.jar in java, the Technic Launcher logo pops up covering everything that's on my desktop and gets stuck there, what could be the problem?

I am running a 64 bit

Launcher/pack Version: 3.0.4

Operating System: Windows 7 ultimate 64bit

Version of Java: Java 7 64 bit

Description of Problem:
Logo stuck on screen

Antivirus program:
Microsoft Security Essentials
