Jake Courtney Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I've got a server hosted by orbitblade.com and I've got Tekkit 3.04 running on it okay. However, I deleted the world and had it recreate a new one once I got the mod installed, but I don't think it's spawning any of the Tekkit resources. Is there some kind of special server setting I have to put in the Gaming Control Panel on the server to get the new levels to generate the proper stuff? All the other mods seem to be working just fine in-game. I just can't find any Copper, Rubber Trees, Oil, or any other resource from Tekkit.
Guest Ysharma Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 can you spawn them using /give /i or NEI. Is the server configured to start with the tekkit.jar?
Jake Courtney Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 Not sure how to make sure. Tekkit was auto installed from server addon manage r.
Iscamania Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 What host do you use? I've got a server hosted by orbitblade.com and I've got Tekkit 3.04 running on it okay. That's clear to me, maybe you should actually read his post? Anyway, it could be that it seems to be running fine, while it isn't. The server will work, but the mods won't load because the folder is in the wrong place. I think this is the problem here. I don't know how much access you have on orbitblade, but if you could FTP to the server files themself then try to move the mods folder around. In my situation, I had to move the Tekkit.jar in the jar folder and everything else in the main folder. That's not a default setup, but the default setup itself doesn't work on my host. That's just the way how control panels work. They have there own methods of doing things. This is most probably also the case for your host.
