Michael_Is_Mc497 Posted November 30, 2014 Share Posted November 30, 2014 Hi i have been playing tekkit for a while but then i just stopped and played hexxit alot more. 1 Day i found a tekkit server and discided to revisit the mod pack. Whenever i try launching it it just crashes it doesn't open the game it just acts like its going to i see the file at the bottom of my screen but then it discaperes. I have tried resetting the folder twice. deleting technic and its folder and re installing 3 times, just closing and reopening the launcher 7 times, logging out and in 12 times. And its kind of obvious none of this is working how can i fix my tekkit? please help and I'm on a MAC DESKTOP so i need to know how to do it on that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Curunir Posted November 30, 2014 Share Posted November 30, 2014 Please take all issues to the tracker. This being a Mac, I guess you are being forced to use Java 8. Refer to this ticket for an explanation and the solution to that. You need to use the hotfix if you cannot downgrade from Java 8. If it's not that, you need to make your own ticket on the tracker.
