Para_Crafter Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 I attempted to upload my first modpack two days ago and whenever I try to edit it for the first time it redirects me to an error page. "Server Error: 500 (Internal Server Error)" I want to know if there are others with this problem and whether or not it's somehow my pack specifically since the website seems to work perfectly fine for me.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted December 1, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted December 1, 2014 I have occasionally had this happen. Always comes back after that and I have been able to proceed with creating/editing packs.
Para_Crafter Posted December 3, 2014 Author Posted December 3, 2014 It's been 4 days and the issue is persisting
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted December 3, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted December 3, 2014 Try a different browser? Especially when not using Solder, the system has very high reliability for me.
Para_Crafter Posted December 9, 2014 Author Posted December 9, 2014 No difference. When I created it let me edit and I finished it. When I tried to submit it gave me that error and that's what I've been getting ever since. It acts like it never submitted in the first place. I'm curious if I could've added something to it that would cause this.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted December 9, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted December 9, 2014 Might be time to head to one of the Trackers (the Launcher, maybe).
Para_Crafter Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 Okay, this is getting weird. I named my modpack, "Sol's Magic&Exploration". Whenever my friend searches 'Sol' it pulls up the error 500 but whenever he searches anything else it's fine. Did I break the website? 0.0 Anyway I'm giving up and making a new modpack. Hopefully this one will work.
Para_Crafter Posted December 12, 2014 Author Posted December 12, 2014 It saved correctly and is uploaded as far as I am aware. Whenever I try to upload the edited pack it gives me error 500. It no longer does the error 500 when I search for it
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted December 12, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted December 12, 2014 Try not using any special characters in either your filenames or pack slugs.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted December 12, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted December 12, 2014 For example, for this API URL: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/cheese-ball The slug is "cheese-ball". This is automatically generated based on your pack name when using Technic's interface. Don't use special characters in your pack name or slug.
