Java Version: java 7 update 5 64-bit

Description of Problem:

when leaving my server after placing and filling up a tunnelbore, upon logging back in the inventory of the tunnelbore is wiped. unsure if this has to do with the chunk no longer being loaded, or if the server is empty for people. the items are lost, and my console does not state any errors

interesting, though it also seems as if the tunnelbore will not dig very far and then just stops... maybe something went wrong in my conversion of the server to tekkit 3... had some issues with EE that i solved with alchemy bags and transmutation tables, but that is a different story all together...

my tunnel bore had the same issue, it wipes its inventory if the server restarts and gives a nullpointer error in the server console.

edit:

i have my config modyfied with the other blocktypes an this works fine.

well i will take a look at the the config, thought that was handlet by default with tekkit servers. but the tunnelbore acted strangely the first time i set it up. it mined some way but it skipped the first wall of blocks that were in its way. doubt this solves the inventory getting wiped though, but it's a start

update: found out so far that if you have an anchor cart next to the tunnelbore, the inventory of it will NOT disapear. thanks for the heads up on the config having to be manually changed aswell.

i also noticed that if you break a tunnel bore, the contents drop alongside with duplicates that disapear after a while or if you relog.

lastly, i run a couple of bukkit plugins on the sideline, does anyone have any idea if a specific plugin interferes with either railcraft or other tekkit mods?

i want to add that my server does the same thing when restarting. the tunnel bore inventory is wiped even though the world anchor is working. so it seems that when the tunnel bore is not loaded in the world, it's inventory is "wiped" kinda troublesome since my server has automatic restarts xD

i also noticed that when i dug with it, suddenly a bunch of suspicios entities appeared: coal coke, rails, gravel, that stuff that should have been in the tunnelbore. you cannot pick it up though. so my idea is that the inventory gets emptied into the world in a way tha makes entiti duplicated along the digging path.

anyway, are there anyone else who can test this to see if the same things happen on their server? i will probably end trying it on a local one for my self.

just made a test today, on a local server with no plugins, just tekkit mods. the tunnel bore acted normally when disconnecting and rejoining. but when the server was shut down, the inventory was wiped none the less.

so in other words, something is acting up with the mod itself, and at the same time there must be something on the server that does something aswell. will test again after i pull over the plugins from my hosted server.

done, though even with the plugins that i use on the server, the tunnel bore kept its inventory when reloggin. maybe my serverhost has something setup, or something unexplainable is happening xD i should have installed the update from 3.0.3 -> 3.0.4 but i was wondering if maybe something went wrong.

can i simply drag and drop the mods from the clean 3.0.4 zip into the existing server without having loses on stuff like alchemy bags etc? or potential mods acting up? my intuition would say: "maybe"
