How to deactivate Optifine?

I get lags from Optifine, is there a way to deactivate it?

optifine does not lag you, it speeds you up. It allows more visual artifacts to save performance. The real lag generator is millenaire, disable that to get much higher FPS.

I use tekkit, there is no millenaire. I play on a server and have no problems without mods, earlier I got lags to with only optifine.

No seriously, what do you people not understand.

Optifine does not cause 'lag' or framerate drops, unless you are running an ungodly powerful system, in which case you need to give minecraft more memory.

It causes some sort of lag,not really lag,for me if i use it minecraft window gets random colorfull lines,and afterwards crashes..
