I dont know whats wrong but im trying to host a server but whenever i connect an error comes up.

Steps to fix: (don't use development build.. not yes at least)

Exit Tekkit

Re-Launch tekkit

Don't log in

Click the options menu

Change from development build to "Recommended build"

Tap OK to accept changes

Log in now

Tap "Yes" to upgrade (upgrade to the recommended build)

Login to your server... and enjoy tekkit.
