How do I update to 3.0.4

How do I update tekkit? On the technic pack website it says

Replace your Tekkit.jar with the one included in the zip

You will also need to replace 3 files in your servers mods folder.

Remove the following files:

- EE2ServerV1.4.5.1-bukkit-mcpc-1.2.5-r1.zip

- mod_IC2NuclearControl-1.1.6-mcpc1.2.5-r2.zip

- redpower-all-2.0p5b2-mcpc1.2.5.zip

Replacing with following files from the server zip:

- EE2ServerV1.4.5.1-bukkit-mcpc-1.2.5-r2.zip

- mod_IC2NuclearControl-1.1.6-mcpc1.2.5-r3.zip

- redpower-all-2.0p5b2-mcpc1.2.5-r2.zip

Ive gone to the technic folder in appdata then into the tekkit folder, but I cant find a tekkit jar to replace, ive even searched for it using search function.

What do i do? All help welcome and appreciated

Those update instructions are for updating a tekkit server. The appdata folder you are referring to is the tekkit client.

3.0.4 is an update for the server only, the client is still 3.0.3 (Recommended build).

Those instructions are for the server, not the client. The client remains at version 3.0.3.

Ah ok, ive never played multiplayer and i wanted to give it a go, which explains my stupidity, so where do I do what the instructions say?

Wherever you put your 3.0.3 server. If you didn't start a 3.0.3 server, but instead started directly with 3.0.4, ignore the instructions - you don't need them.
