Problem Joining tekkit servers

Java Version: 64 bit

Antivirus Program: When I join a tekkit server I get a error mesage saying that I need minecraft forge to join the server but when I installed minecraft forge minecraft craches.

When I join a tekkit server I get a error mesage saying that I need minecraft forge to join the server but when I installed minecraft forge minecraft craches.

This server requires you to have Minecraft Forge installed

This error is usually Java screwing with you. Do you have Java 6 or 7? You don't say. If updating Java (and removing the old ones) doesn't work, post a launcher log.

It was just me who is dumb and dont know how the lancher is working.

His issue was probably cause he had the launcher setup for either DEV builds and server was using Recommended, or vice versa.

It's happening to alot of people.

Apparently it's a Minecraft issue with their servers. I've been having the same problem for the last several hours. If it's an issue on that end, then why can I log in to the launcher at all?

I would guess it's because the issue isn't completely disrupting their server access - just mostly disrupting it.

lol that made so it happend was that I logged in the regualar lancher XD
