Colin969 Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 The items arn't craftable in SMP, something you may want to fix.
0 Candunc Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Computercraft seems to be disabled in this version of Tekkit. The items don't exist in their assigned IDs
0 DarthDavis Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 There are two problems with Computercraft 1.It is installed incorrectly in the server. To fix this extract the computercraft-server-1.21-bukkit-b1.1R4-r1.zip then delete it the zip. 2.The block ids are wrong in this release too. To fix this change the grower block id from 208 to 255 in the forestry config. Now run the server to generate a new computercraft config and then change the disk id to 4256.
0 Bmandk Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Also, there's a new version of ComputerCraft out, just released today. It has a cool new bot which you can program to do different kind of stuff like mining and building. Also more, but i dont know what yet ^^
0 Marcoroni Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 I just made my forum account so I could say thanks DarthDavis, that solution worked for me. I wasn't able to make it generate a new config file, but the old one works.
0 J0P5 Posted February 28, 2012 Posted February 28, 2012 Ok so we followed DarthDavis steps, and we are running into the problem where we can't craft disks (as soon as we put the recipe in: client crash). The config file says 4256, however in server it says there is no such item (when we try to spawn it). Does anyone had this same issue, or better knows how to fix it?

We ended up having to change the IDs for the Computer to 124 so I changed the DiskDrive to 125. This means we have to manually edit our mod_ComputerCraft.cfg file when tekkit updates, but that's a minor price to pay. Just don't keep the drives on your player or you won't be able to log in if the server changes the IDs.
0 russjr08 Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Make sure you're changing it on the client too!
0 colonel0sanders Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I crafted a disk drive in SMP - but I was trying to craft an automatic treetap. Now if I could just figure out how to craft an automatic treetap...
0 absorr Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I think the easiest way to do that is to see if redpower's buffer (the thing that right clicks with whatever is in its inventory) will work with IC2's treetap and rubber trees and go from there. That's how to make an automatic treetap
0 miniboxer Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Epic fail: computer craft is most likely disabled on the server
