RuntimeException: IndustrialCraft 2: MinecraftForge Too Old, need at least 1.3.3

PointZeroOne

Question

So I'm getting this error when starting the server. Any ideas?

I have gone through and removed anything relating to previous tekkit version and have copied the contents of the latest 2.0 release across.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE ACTUALLY SELECTING TEKKIT FROM THE LAUNCHER. IF YOUR UPPER-LEFT BUTTON SAYS TECHNIC, YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG

This is the only thing that will cause this. Select Tekkit guys, not Technic. Click that fat button in the upper left, select Tekkit instead. Now try.

Ahhh my mistake. If I weren't an admin I would have just got a pink name for that. My bad, and I apologize.

So we move on to the next thing, and that is starting on a 100% clean, new folder. Nothing left over. Nothing at all. For some reason you have it looking at an old forge. The thing is, there isn't an old forge version in the server file, so you must be running an old one.

There is simply no other explanation, since if it was broken it would break and give you a nasty NPE or something, not a message telling you its old. You know?
