Technic 2.0 Launcher Help

Everytime I download the technic laucher, drag it to my own folder on my desktop, and run it. It just has a little window that pops up and says downloading launcher 1/3. Well after its "done" after about 1-3 seconds it just closes the window and it does absoluetly nothing. Is there something special im supposed to do for this version of technic?

Run the technicpack .JAR file.

Go to Run -> %appdata% -> .technicpack -> technic-launcher.jar

Create a shortcut to that on your desktop. Run that.

You still need the .EXE though. Every time there is an update to the launcher, you'll need to run the .EXE

We always also update the main download pages with the updated .jars as well.
