I have the same problem.

I've downloaded the latest launcher version, deleted the .techniclauncher folder, reinstalled JAVA several times, etc.

It can take several minutes for the launcher to start and even show the splash screen. It just idles at about 8-9MB RAM usage for several minutes.

Not trying to waste anyone's time or anything, but I have a similar issue. It takes a long time to load the launcher, which bothers me because just a week ago it would open immediately on my clicking of the launcher icon. Hope someone can find an answer to this problem.
