i got a imac 2006 running 6.8 snow leopard and i got the server running but none of my friends can get on. i pressed start command and i can get on but they tried and said server unreachable. ip is correct

Well I can get On the server and if under the same wifi my friends can too

If you want to make it a public server you need to google "How do i forward ports".

IP = 10.0.1.8 is a private adress, try getting your public address at http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and seeing if your friends can connect to that.

They typed in the public ip now and they said connection refused

Let them try: 24.6.117.155:25565 if that doesn't work check that the port is correctly forwarded

My friends are on now a ok no problems and the 24.6.117.155 ip works anyone can join now!!!!
