Cannot find the huge rubber trees!

Could anyone explain why I can not find any huge rubber trees on the server I play on, I used to find them often in forrest areas before, has something changed with the spawning?

They only spawn in jungle biomes as of 1.2.5 I think

I have found a jungle biome, still no sign of huge rubber tree's just a big vulcanoe. Any more suggestions?

it might be the fact that scince your on multiplayer they might have all been cut down.I might be wrong though.

Scrap that, found this awsome oilsource and my friend said "You might see a huge rubber tree from up there!" I floated to the top and looked around and voila, look behind the oilfountain... my long sought rubber tree!
