Description of Problem:

Hi!

I followed like 3 videos in how to build an Quarry and in the video worked but in my server it didn't.

It was everything like the videos said but when I turn the engines on nothing happen. There was no tube formation, like in the video.

This happen in a friends server.

Can you help me?

Post a picture of the setup, it could be a setup problem, or a permissions problem if the server owner has added a permissions plugin

I am op and I couldn't do it.

I putted a map with the structure already done in Tekkit and the thing that moves only moved when I break the block that he should break.

The mod_BuildCraftCore.cfg files only had this:

I'm not talking about your user permissions. Some of the mods have fake users so events can be logged properly. If those users don't have permission to break the blocks a quarry won't work. From the above though it does't look like you have a permissions plugin so unless it's something specific with your setup I've no more ideas

This is the Build craft mod that it's in my tekkit folder.

I already downloaded and runned Tekkit in another folder, and the quarrys didn't work either.

Could you send me your mod?

When the server is running, go into the server log (The file that opens when you run "launch") And type op [buildCraft]

I have [buildCraft] in ops.txt and it didn't work.

No, quarry isn't doing anything.

I tryed with a no-frame quarry and a frame one (did it on SP). Nothing happen. 2 Steam engines.

make sure the items dont have their ids glitched. if it has a -1 after it its probably a glitched item

Holy hijack batman! Read the thread...there's nothing wrong with quarries. Do the items suggested here if you have problems post your own thread with all the information required to diagnose your problem.

If you have towny or essentials, your group permissions can cause this. my default is builder and no problems. when the default was default it wouldn't work for me either.

The essentialsprotect plugin is stopping the quarry from working i had the same problem with modify world. Just take that plugin out and if anyone knows a way to fix this without taking out the essentialsportect or modify world let me know.
