VixelPixel Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Hey, I am trying to figure out how to disable dinosaurs in tropicworld on an attack of the b-team server. I have looked around in the config of both tropicraft and fossils but found no option to disable dinos at all. Is there a way of doing this? Its really important as the amount of dinos that spawn cause a whole lot of lag to my server.
Moderators Munaus Posted May 5, 2015 Moderators Posted May 5, 2015 I think there was a mod called World of Dinos, by CanVox, that made the Dinos spawn naturally on Tropic lands. Try to look in the configs of that mod
VixelPixel Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 There isnt a mod called world of dinos, dinos are part of the fossil mod but theres no config to disable them
Moderators Munaus Posted May 6, 2015 Moderators Posted May 6, 2015 what version of the modpack are you running?
Luke_1_ Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 i think there is a cofig file named "worldofdinos" in this file is a list of what biomes the dinosaurs can spawn in if you remove all the biome id numbers it will stop them spawning
VixelPixel Posted May 7, 2015 Author Posted May 7, 2015 i think there is a cofig file named "worldofdinos" in this file is a list of what biomes the dinosaurs can spawn in if you remove all the biome id numbers it will stop them spawning Thanks so much, this worked. I was confused when Munaus replied as he said its a mod, but I was stupid to not look through the configs.
