Hello, everyone. I'm having an issue and would appreciate your help :) So, I created my server with some mods that I believe are compatible (I'm positive, because if they were not I don't think the server would launch, but I could be wrong) and run on the server, however, when I break certain blocks it kicks me from the server. It does not crash the server, as it's still running, it just prevents me from staying logged in. I have to delete the world files in order to fix the problem. Thank you for your time and help :)

  • What modpack is this for?
  • What server are you using? (Cauldron/Forge and what version)
  • Does it kick you, or does the client crash?

It's a modpack I created for my server. Do you need a link?

I'm using Forge 1.7.10

And it kicks me, then immediately kicks me again if I try to log back in.

That is a link to the pack download. We can start with that but will be unable to properly diagnose problems without the API URL or pack details page.

I'm trying my best to not sound like an idiot and I apologize. I think this is what you're looking for: http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/superultrahardderp.650615

Excuse the name, it was supposed to be a name that no one has already taken and it's meant to be a small server for a few friends and myself.

I hope that's what you're looking for, please tell me if it isn't and how I could get you what you're looking for. :)

  • Your /bin/modpack.jar is named "modpack.jar.jar". Google "windows explorer always show file extensions" to learn how to fix this and prevent it in the future.
  • You have a very recent version of Forge (#1401) but old mod versions which require Forge < #1355. Biomes O' Plenty, Blood Magic, etc.
  • Many of your mods are in the format "ModName-Mod-1.7.10.jar". This almost always indicates that the mod has been downloaded from an illegitimate source. Get your mods directly from the authors.
  • Many other of your mods are missing the version numbers in the name. If you are removing the version number you need to re-download the mods and leave the file names intact. If you are downloading mods with no version number in the name, 9+ times out of 10 you didn't get it from the author.
