necet
Why can't I get the steam turbine to work? I've really tried everything that google could find. This is one of the setups I tried. http://postimg.org/image/xgwothi2z/ Just using creative mode on a different world to test things Edited May 26, 2015 by necet
Moderators AetherPirate Posted May 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 26, 2015 Not sure what I'm looking at there. Are you referring to the Big Reactor turbines, or something else?

Moderators AetherPirate Posted May 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 26, 2015 Ah ok. Looks like he pumping in water from an Aqueous Accumulator. The wiki says you need to pipe steam into it.
necet
Well the person in that picture was me, and I've been trying to use different pipes to get it into the steam turbine aswell, but the power bar nor the battery will charge.
Moderators AetherPirate Posted May 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 26, 2015 TE Fluid pipes with a servo should be able to pipe steam into it from boiler, have you tried that?
necet
What boiler do u mean? only boiler I can find is Sludge Boiler and Nuclear Boiler Edited May 26, 2015 by necet
Moderators AetherPirate Posted May 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) I don't think the 1.6.4 version of MFR has a block that makes steam. You'd need to rely on some other mod for that. I forget if tekkit has railcraft, if it does, search there. Otherwise Big Reactors can make steam, but you'd be far better off using BR turbines instead if you go that path. Wait, what about TE steam dynamo? It's been awhile since I've played tekkit, take a look. Edited May 26, 2015 by AetherPirate
necet
I want something to make energy that I don't have to feed coal or such :/
Moderators AetherPirate Posted May 26, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) Check out Big Reactors then, Cunrir has a stickied thread about how to get started. Google for Direwolf20's tutorial about it too. You will need to feed it yellorite ingots, but an efficient reactor gives a LOT of power for very little input.
